Another reason why Obama is going to beat McCain like a cheap pinata.
If you examine Barack Obama's electoral history, you'll find that campaigns which run against him have a much higher than normal chance of spontaneously self-destructing in a highly spectacular way. This happened twice just in his 2004 Senate campaign alone, taking out one of the other candidates in the primary, and the first of two Republican candidates in the general.

We already know McCain is a borderline personality with all the stability of a belly dancer in an earthquake. Put him up against the unflappable, almost inhuman cool of Obama, and McCain will be lucky to make it through the first debate without having a massive cerebral hemhorrage.

3. Yeah, but I was referring to the other Republican.
The one who, despite being wealthy and popular, was losing to Obama by 23 points BEFORE it became known that the Repub had tried to force his wife to participate at public sex clubs.

I'm still not sure that that guy didn't leak his own divorce records for an excuse to get out of the race.

4. Yeah....
It's real common for people to enjoy being called a pervert for the rest of their lives.

"hmm....Sex-club pervert or lose to Obama.....hmm....what a tough decision!"

"Pervert it is!!!"

5. Now I have this horrible image of McCain as a pinata
...and am left wondering just what kind of stuff would fall out of him when he bursts. Cluster bombs? Defunct S&Ls? Karl Rove? Would everything be covered in green alien goo?

11. Still don't know what Jack Ryan was thinking...
I mean Seven of Nine...who would risk giving up that....but to bring this back to politics, he has the political judo, just redirect your opponents own momentum, and use it against them (or they use it against themselves....)

12. A McCain implosion may be the best chance the Dems have this year
and I think it's a distinct possibility, due to what I suspect are the early stages of pre-senile dementia.

17. He was far from melting down on The View; early reaction is that he did well on the couch today.
Edited on Thu Apr-10-08 09:52 PM by Carrieyazel
Obama was fidgeting last week, and he looked anxious and insecure for some reason. "McCain looked rested and comfortable", according to blogger noise today.
