Please note: Barack Obama and Jesse Jackson are different people.
There appears to be some confusion on this issue. A certain prolific anti-Obama poster on this website appears to be particularly confused, judging by his daily threads on how much all of us white people hate Jesse Jackson/Barack Obama.

I even looked it up on the internet. They really are different people:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesse_jackson

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_obama

Jesse Jackson, while politically quite skilled, never won more than 11 primaries.
This Obama fella has won 30 primary contests, and is the 2008 Democratic presidential nominee.

Hopefully this will put an end to some of the confusion and cut down on the number of threads confusing these two politicians.

3. Don't you mean Chinese waiters?
For the overly thin-skinned, please refer to the :sarcasm: note in the previous post.

Thank you.

2. Next time a woman runs, Hillary will be used as a comparision.
Will that be frowned upon too?

Sorry, my bad.

14. I believe so.
Though I think there may have been some confusion on that end as well. As far as I know, Tiger Woods has never won a primary contest.

12. It's not just one poster, I've seen it today from another of the 'Usual Suspects', it's a strategy
for today, at least.

You kind of notice little flare-ups of 'Jesse Jackson' mentions when they erupt in clusters.

13. darn it all. Why'd you have to tell me that?
I liked him better when I thought he was Jesse Jackson. I was part of the Rainbow Coalition in 1988.

17. Well, the anti-Obama zealot almost got me.
Good thing for Wikipedia. I almost believed him that Jesse Barack Jackson Obama is really just one person, and I thought to myself, "Wait, I'm white, I can't vote for that person." Thankfully, just in time I figured out that they're really two separate people and it's ok for me to support Obama.
