Hillary confirmed what we already knew, she is the status quo and she doesn't stand for change
Edited on Sat Apr-12-08 03:56 PM by Cali_Democrat
Think back to the New Hampshire debate when she was offended Edwards called her the status quo candidate. She then said the following...

"I want to make change, but I've already made change. I will continue to make change. I'm not just running on a promise of change, I'm running on 35 years of change."

Here's the video.... http://youtube.com/watch?v=-hUW27EJFL4

Now listen to Hillary. She thinks Americans aren't bitter. How can you make change if you think Americans aren't bitter? How can you make change if you don't think Americans are fed up with their government? You can't!! This is why I support Obama. He DOES stand for CHANGE and Hillary stands for the status quo.

Thank you Hillary for making the distinction even more clear. Bravo.

6. Yeah, having to work at Wal-Mart, McDonalds, Target, because our
good jobs are all replaced by service sector crap.

7. Yep. The ownersrship class loves us hard-working good people ...
Edited on Sat Apr-12-08 03:59 PM by TahitiNut
... as long as we don't get sick, don't get old, and don't get uppity and want to keep a little more than 1/3rd of the wealth we create.

After all, "good people" are very much like "good Germans." :eyes:

11. what ridiculous pap
Frankly, I think paradoxes exist. Americans may be hard working, good people, but we're also greedy, entitled and parochial. We're full of contradictions.

3. Wrong. She wants to turn America into a third-world country by...
...sending all of our jobs overseas. She has been an eager mule for Indian politicians and corporations, carrying their best interests to Congress.

4. Hillary stands for Hillary.
And that means cozying up with the lobbyists and all those who want business as usual.

13. HIllary is the classic example of everything that is wrong with politics in America.
She will never be president.

19. Hillary has worked her whole life for people less fortunate.. It's
sickening to hear the way dems on this board talk about a true compassionate democrat, and adore a person that could do us more harm than we have ever known. He is full of hate. A man that angry can't bring peace

14. Just what kind of change is BO going to make. He sounds like
the same o,same o, and when Hillary gives a good example of what change she like to make he's right behind her, saying me too, me too. Some leader he is. Face it, if you're black you've found something that gives you pride and encouragement. If you're white,he doesn't offer anything. After listening to and reading snippets of his book he is full of bitterness toward the white race. There's something there that has affected him deeply. With the hate of the country, and the white people, why would people want to vote for him. Colin Powell is black you don't hear him talking that way. I'd trust him a lot more even if he did lie to us about wmd's. Sorry, I don't mean to be rude or hateful to anyone, but I've never heard the type of hate, and racist remarks, Obama and his preacher have spouted. Maybe I'm just real fortunate for where I live, because the only problem as far as race that i'm hearing is illegal aliens taking our jobs and that's coming from blacks and whites.

15. Yeep...
that is my understanding as well...Hillary stands for the status quo in Washington. Same old, same old. When she dissed "Change and hope" she basically said it there, and now this.

Thankfully she will not be our nominee...because I find myself not wanting to vote for her at all...period.

16. McCain is the status quo
Not Hillary nor Obama.

Obama would be a better departure, but Clinton is much different than Republicans.
