I'm a "BITTER VOTER" for Obama, let me tell you why I'm bitter. Who is with me?
My main reason for being a "bitter voter" is because of the way George W. Bush and the Republicans have run this country, ruined its reputation, fucked up our economy, neglected our educational system, damaged our environment, did nothing about health care and divided us with so many wedge issues.

But I'm also a "bitter voter" because there is a Democrat in this race who is not acting like a Democrat. She is embracing the GOP tactics that have sought polarize and divide us. She is doing this to damage a candidate that offers hope and a new day for America. I still want to believe that if she wins the nomination I can support her, but SHE and HER campaign are making that harder and harder for me everyday.

Her supporters want to call a lot of us haters and claim we don't support her because she is a woman, but that is so fucking far from the truth its laughable. The Clinton folks have no one but themselves to blame for the way a ton of us are responding to her. I look at so many Obama supporters like myself who have been so fond of the Clintons over the years who are very furious with them because of their campaign tactics.

Who is with me?

3. Love your Franken picture
I'm still bitter that Gore and Kerry had their elections stolen. I'm bitter that we have administration full of war criminals and a congress that doesn't have the courage to do anything about.

4. She voted for this war
I believe she would attack Iran also. Other than on social issues, I don't see much difference between her and McCain. What does she know about the economy? I am a former New Yorker. What has she done for the economy of New York, especially Upstate NY?

I voted for her for my Senator as a New Yorker. No more. The woman got something like 58% in her own state. That is pitiful. That is only 4% more than she got when she ran against the wimp Lazio when she first ran for the Senate.

If she steals this primary, I will not vote for her.

6. People have good reasons to be bitter at the Clintons as well.
They gave him huge support when he won in 92, Lost Congress, Managed to win 96, got in the sex scandal which indirectly led us into 8 years of Bush (Lack of trust for democrats afterwards).

Then you got Hillary Clinton who voted and supported the authorization of action in Iraq. Need I go on?!

This country has gone to hell and people aren't supposed to be Bitter?

7. I'm very bitter. Bitter about the war, bitter about the economy
Edited on Sat Apr-12-08 05:54 PM by Catherina
bitter about NAFTA, the Bankruptcy Bill, Welfare Reform, globalization and most of all bitter about the polarizations that have kept people bickering over wedge issues instead of uniting on general principles. Obama is changing the paradigm and I'm all for it.

I just sent my reasons for being a "bitter voter" to the Clinton campaign website. Perhaps she should hear from more of the "bitter voters". http://www.hillaryclinton.com/help/contact/

15. Bitter herbs are often detoxifying~
I find this ironic. Most people cannot tolerate bitter herbs, bitter tasting food, and miss out on the cleansing effects of them. Americans like mostly bland and sweet food, only in recent decades developed a taste for exotic spices and hot food. We are yet to accept sour and bitter tasting food.
I find poetry here, since many people I know can only 'digest' truths that are bland or sweetened up, rejecting and denying bitter or sour truths.
Only some people will be able to swallow the bitter red pill of truth and break out of the Matrix, and then see the world for what it really is. The bitter taste is only temporary, but necessary in order to heal.
