Begging the question. When will the candidates debate the state of the economy?
"You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them,” was the start of the "infamous" Obama "bitter" quotation.

Instead of developing or critiquing his premise, the other two major candidates are attacking Obama personally for "insulting" a particular demographic in rural Pennsylvania, perhaps throughout the country. And he is compelled to defend this side issue.

Is it more important to understand what has happened to our collective and individual abilities to survive in this country than to focus on whether there was a hidden or blatant insult in Obama's answer to a question.

1. At the same time we can get the Media to force them to. Not before.

2. We are not allowed to debate the economy, because we didn't ask permission......
and we aren't allowed to "offend" anyone, because that could end a campaign.

We must simply roll up our sleeves, and make sure that no darkies are saying anything about those sensitive voters who's governor announced wouldn't be voting for Blacks anyways.

3. That was weird
Must have been a sort of freudian brain-fart slip. I read the OP as "When will the candidates debate the END of the economy".

4. This is a political campaign, meant only for making the opponent
look like something they are not, even if they're on the same team. It is not meant for discussing wars, health, economy, education or anything else. The word of the day is still "bitter." It may be replaced by comment on the picture of Hillary doing boilermakers with the boys and talking duck hunting . . . we'll have to see.
