Uber-Elitist Clinton claims Obama an Elitist for speaking of Populism.
This is truly bizarre. Of all the people to charge the Elitist label--Hillary Clinton? She is the epitome of Elitism. Is you listen to her stump speeches, her debates and her husband their message is clear. She says, essentially:

"Vote for ME, I will solve YOUR problems. I know best and I have the answers"

She says this from high atop her $100+ million bank account. That is Elitism. She is in the upper-ruling class and she is selling herself as the fixer who knows better than anyone how to solve the problems. That is Elitism.

She charges Obama with Elitism after she supported and helped push through NAFTA-which hurt the Middle-class. She says this after voting for an illegal war that has caused a Recession while boosting Elite War Profiteers. She says this after her husband receives $50+ million for speaking to other Elitist, telling them how to run the world, telling them has to bust unions.

Obama understands the frustrations and bitterness of middle-America. He recognizes and communicates that we have been ignored and exploited for decades. He knows that rural America has been duped into voting against their economic interests through wedge issues.

He tells Us that We have work to do. That We are the ones who have to make the changes. He reminds Us that We have the power.

That is a Populist message. Only an true Elitist would feel so threatened by that message that they do everything they can to tear that message down.

Notice who jumped on this: The Elitist M$M. The Elitist(8 homes) McCain. And the Elitist Hillary Clinton.

6. haha, I love this take on it.
This is from Jason Linkins, who writes the Sunday Talking Heads column on the Huffington Post-

"See, thanks to Senator Obama, who couldn't come up with a way of explaining the thesis of Thomas Frank's book, What's the Matter With Kansas?, to a room for of Bay Area Democrats that wasn't wholly inept, we can comfortably predict that this Sunday morning, instead of a vital discussion of the unbelievably goofy and, well, UNBELIEVABLE testimony proffered by David Petraeus and Ryan Crocker on Iraq, we're instead going to listen to the Sunday Morning hosts and panels give a national conversation on elitism. This, despite the fact that they are, to a man, out-of-touch by several million degrees and so elitist that they are practically toffee-encrusted."

Almost time for James Carville and Mary Matalin on Meet the Press! I don't know if I want to watch or not, lol.
