Obama's words were ill chosen in his original statement about Pa voters.

But when it "mysteriously" began to hit the media and blogosphere, he quickly clarified what his intent was. And he re-clarified it....And he even acknowledged his poor choice of words.

So it was quickly made crystal clear what the statement was really about. And it was the opposite of elitism.

It was about people feeling abandoned by government on economic issues because of systemic corruption, and thus not voting in their own economic self-interest because they don't see any point to it. He was absolutely right -- and what he said is no different than what most Democrats and political experts recognize.

he also basically said the Republicans successfully divided the working class by diverting the political process towards controversial wedge issues.

And furthermore, Obama said, in order to reverse this, it is necessary to encourage these frustrated and angry voters by actually representing their interests again. And that requires breaking away from the phony politics of cultural divisions with a shared message and representation on the more common issues that directly affect average people.

You know that. Hillary knows that.

And if you know it, and still misrepresent it to voters, that's called lying.

Obama is trying to put a spin on his own recent words and make it look like he is a victim. He is trying to get the media to report that he only said the people in PA are bitter and they have a right to be. Sorry Obama, it is not going to work.
