I would like to offer a formal apology to anyone I offended with my post

three days ago...I used very poor wording, and attempted to make peace with some Obama supporters on this forum.

I was frustrated, to say the least at that time, and I let my emotions get the better of me. I used the term "little fucker" towards the end of my post,( my biggest error ) but it wasn't meant to be directed at any group in particular...just words that came out after I was frustrated that evening, and those were absolutely the worst words I could have picked. Then again, when I get upset and passionate about something ( like this election ) I sometimes do tend to use words that I wish I could take back...

I can't take back those words tonight...that is fine. What I do feel is important is that everyone here knows what I DID mean that day. It was explained in a few responses to the OP, and I thought I had reconciled that point with several posters replying, but after three attempts ( requests sent to the moderators ) to have the thread locked, since it wasn't doing any good, those requests apparently were not answered. At this point, I wanted the thread locked, and done for good...I used incorrect wording, and could have added some things there that would probably explain the situation a bit more clearly..

I understand the thread was kicked long after that, from what I was told.( I don't believe I have ever had a thread kicked for whatever reason, but for whoever it was that did that...thanks for keeping it at the top for so long, but I was trying to reconcile with a few DU'ers shortly before I asked it to be locked ). Whatever......but I feel it is important for people here to know I wasn't trying to stir up any shit ( and that is the main impression that I got, judging from some of the responses there ). not the case at all....but I believe we all have a common enemy here ( McCain ) and everything comes down to November, I suppose

18. No...I was talking about someone I had a conversation with at a local bar

who was an Obama supporter...and he was a pretty young kid. I did NOT call HIM a little fucker, but in my OP, I called him that ( now that I think about it more, perhaps it was just an afterthought )? The person could not tell me what they thought exactly what Obama would do for them differently than the current administration which they so vehemently abhor. I liked that last part, but he couldn't offer specifics...just basically said that we need something "different" and he also brought in the fact about Bill Clintons affair with Lewinsky, and how he felt that he couldn't trust someone ( like Hillary ) who could stay with a person who did that. I got upset over that...thought that the majority of Democrats in this country were sick-and-tired of hearing this bullshit, but too many still give it credence.
