Is it just me? Watching Hillary on the Compassion Forum...
Edited on Sun Apr-13-08 07:20 PM by TheDonkey
Talking about the decision making process and all of that.

I cannot believe a single word this lady is saying. Sounds like she is just memorizing a bunch of canned lines that have been massaged for hours by pollsters, politicos, and handlers.

Is it just me?

1. I just turned it on, and there were words coming out of her .........
mouth - something about letting emotion take over and what not - anyways she was basically saying that she doesn't do everything she has done this entire this campaign.

UFB, just UFB.

2. No I believe her
I think she goes through the process she describes, and I don't doubt her "faith," but I think she often arrives at the wrong answers because of political, rather than "religious," considerations.

38. Same here.
She's promising the same old crap, which sounds good only to the clueless, and would actually drive normal folks further into the dirt.

She makes it sound like the Holy Spirit guides her decisions. :scared:

if these are the people God is talking to, then I have question his judgment.

And her yearning to return to the White House guides her votes.

36. Thanks for posting that clip, I kept hearing about her saying Gore was elitist
which is a bit of a spin, it wasn't quite that direct.. it seems like what she's doing is backpedaling a bit from her attack, pretending now it's concern for the democratic party... once she saw it backfiring on her, being perceived as a personal attack on his judgement & character and an insult to the intelligence of bitter thinking people with a conscience.

let Obama speak for himself...than started a tirade?

I guess only her and Bill are smart enough to know what "speak for themselves" mean.

She is talking far above the average intelligence, she thinks?

I see Obama's starting to get grey hair and she's aged a few years since this has started.

27. She's the same person who, when asked about b*s*/cheney's ill-gotten powers, stated...
...that she would review them and decide which to keep and which to get rid of as president.

Um, no. That's a violation of the separation of powers. Presidents don't get to pick their powers; that's what b*s*/cheney think they get to do.

42. its the futility of inevitability. its showing on her. she's mourning the
inevitability of losing and feeling the futility of wanting something she ain't going to get. I personally believe that in her last life, she did something that needed correcting in this life. I pity her actually. she will never get what she wants. She has made too many enemies now. living with this is going to be the great lesson of her life. I wonder if she will be able to learn it.

I thought she did well, but I missed the first half of her part. The part I saw she didn't go all Karl Rove on anyone.

40. Only when she said she used to ask to have the story of Esther read to her over and over
I thought she did a pretty good job. I don't think she really dissed Gore and Kerry the way that some have said (she dissed their *campaigns*). Although she wasn't nearly as good as Obama, she wasn't bad. Except for that Esther thing. At that, I thought "bullshit."
