Is it just me or does the title "the compassion forum" make anyone else want to hork?

How about just walking the walk instead of talking the talk? After 7 years of hearing about "Compassionate Conservatives" the word Compassion has lost some of it's zazz for me.

11. I am a liberal member of a fundamental denomination SBC
Southern Baptist Convention. I surely respect your right to your opinions and to anyone's approach on faith. This is an important issue for many dems who are believers. I realize that their are many dems who are agnostic, or atheist. That is entirely cool with me. I would never diss someone for their beliefs. Go Bama Peace :hippie:

4. I could be kind of an extension
of the Compassion gathering in Seattle with the Dalai Lama? I agree about the title, but we do seem to have become less compassionate as a people and that's worrisome. Doesn't hurt to be reminded.

20. Me. So does "homeland". wtf is a "compassion forum"? Sounds like
what's going on in Seattle with Dalai Lama and weekend workshops about having compassion for others. WTF does it have to do with combining religion and politics for presidential candidates?

25. Totally disgusting notion
What about the bloody economy. Housing. health car. Ending the wars. THATS where the compassion is. Not in religiosity but practical policies that affect people's lives.
