Kerry: Caught! Administration's Own Numbers Contradict Bush Campaign; Out of Touch Bush Campaign Claims Wages are Increasing, While Government Report

WASHINGTON, June 15 /U.S. Newswire/ -- "Once again, the Bush campaign is trying to mislead the American people about the economy. On the same day the Bush Administration reported that real wages are decreasing, making it tougher for middle class families to make ends meet, the Bush campaign claims wages are rising. It's another sign that George W. Bush is out of touch and out of credibility," said Kerry campaign spokesman, Chad Clanton.

BUSH CAMPAIGN CLAIMED WAGES ARE INCREASING

Today, the Bush campaign tried once again to mislead the American people on the economy, with a statement from Ken Mehlman claiming credit for "higher wages." (BC04 Release, 6/15/04)

BUT ADMINISTRATION'S OWN REPORT OUT TODAY SHOWS THAT IS FALSE

2. Wait, just a moment
First their terrorism report said the numbers had dropped to their lowest since 1969, thus proof that we are winning the war on terror, but it turns out that is 100% wrong, attacks are actually higher then ever.

Now it turns out that real wages are not increasing as Bush says, but instead are sliding and making it harder for most Americans to live.

What am I to think? I'm sure the Bush folks are doing this on accident because I know they would never lie to me. Never ever.

5. Maybe there is a faction
within the Bush administration that puts out one set of numbers that do not match with the real numbers show, simply for them to be discovered and compared. It could be we have moles in tne GOVT WORKING TO MAKE bUSH LOOK EVEN MORE LIKE A LIAR.

9. Oh that's it, it's the Governments fault!
That's why we need to make the government smaller, so they stop making Bush look like a liar by pointing out the truth. Bastards!

6. Agreed. I've never seen the connection between
"DU-ing" a poll or article and things actually getting better. Not the coverage, not the reality.

7. The rating only updates once or twice an hour
The higher the rating the higher it goes in the list of article. High rated articles make it to the Yahoo "front page". Low rated articles are only found way down at the bottom on the harder to find news sections and sub-sections.
