I'm fighting the urge not to criticize Hillary ...
She has fought a valiant fight. She has give it her best shot. It is now time for her to go back to the Senate and challenge Harry Reid for the Majority Leader position. A week from this Tuesday, there is a good bet that the people of PA will end this race.

The people are looking for change. Unfortunately for Hillary, timing is everything. And the people are saying this is not her time. Barack Obama has run such a strong race because he has gotten tens of millions of dollars from average Americans and none from special interests. He is not beholden to anyone except the people.

After watching the so-called "Compassion Forum" tonight, I am more convinced than ever that Obama should be our nominee. I cannot see how any Hillary supporters watched him tonight and did not think he did a better job on these issues of faith and religion. At the same time, he did not pick up any snakes or speak in tongues or go into seizures with the Holy Ghost. He was rational and presidential. Honest Hillary supporters would have to agree that he did a very good job. Hillary did well but she seems to be fighting from desperation. It's time to set the table for the last supper.

2. Why does she deserve the Majority Leader seat? She's run a terrible campaign, she deserves nada.

8. IMO Chris Dodd should get it

He lost to Daschle by one vote back in 1994. We'd probably be better off if that had gone the other way.

15. I don't want her influencing the Senate agenda
After this primary campaign, I can only see Hillary running interference against anything that Obama would try to get passed. She should not have that kind of power.

6. My urge was to say...
That Obama is kickin' ass and takin' names. His joke about Annie Oakley in a duck blind with her six-shooter was priceless. And it was in front of a bunch of US Steelworkers union people. :-)

Sometimes I get up to 150 times, weather permitting.

10. Did ya'll notice the difference in applause for each?(welcoming)
To me, Hillary sounded too scripted, and careful. She's not very believable to me any more. Obama was much more thoughtful, and genuine, thus I think the crowd was more approving of him!!

14. It's what Molly Ivins called "the Elvis".
Damn I miss that woman.

In Dec 2006, Molly Ivins was asked whether or not Barack Obama should run for president. Her answer: “Yes, he should run. He’s the only Democrat with any ‘Elvis’ to him.”

12. which hillary would show up
Which hillary would be majority leader? The one fought like tooth and nails against her democratic opponent, or the one who barely fought against the Republican President.

If she can channel her faux outrage over Obama until real outrage over the Republican president, than maybe.

16. Which Hillary would show up? The one who doesn't want a Democratic incumbent in 2012.
