Clinton Likens Obama to Kerry, Gore
WASHINGTON — Senator Clinton is warning that Senator Obama's comments about small-town Americans make him vulnerable to the fate suffered by Vice President Gore and Senator Kerry: being labeled an out-of-touch elitist and losing to the Republicans.

The former first lady criticized Mr. Obama for a second straight day, saying his diagnosis that working-class voters were "bitter" was not only elitist but patronizing. She suggested the remarks were "in line" with the oft-repeated charge that the Democratic Party did not understand mainstream American culture and values.

"We had two very good men and men of faith run for president in 2000 and 2004," Mrs. Clinton said at a forum on faith televised live on CNN last night. "But large segments of the electorate concluded that they did not really understand or relate to or frankly respect their ways of life."

24. It's not an attack
If that is an attack that 90% of Democrats ourselves included attack ourselves after every election that we don't win, trying to understand how it was that superior candidates lost to inferior candidates.

25. Yup, you better believe it's an attack.
Her husband = not elitist, that's why he won.
Gore/Kerry - elitists, that's why they lost.

So what Clinton is saying, basically, is that she doesn't believe those two were elitists, disagreed with people calling them that, but will call Obama that, even though she thinks it's wrong? haha wow, she's spun so much, even she can't keep her shit straight.

8. Hey Clinton! guess what! Gore won!
Kerry lost because Kerry was thrown under a bus and democrats were shattered. Allowing easy Swiftboating (Trust me I know this)

So Clinton. You threw multiple great democrats under the bus and I hope you are ready for the fail. Because I say that any time now Gore will endorse Obama and your bid will be as virtually over.

18. kerry & gore "lost"
Kerry & Gore "lost" because the mainstream media told those Americans who aren't politically savvy that George W Bush was a good ol' average cowboy who they'd want to have a beer with, and not the truth that he was probably richer than every President who ever lived, give or take a Kennedy.

Kerry & Gore didn't get the impression that they were elitist. The mainstream media told the American people they were, because they liked W better for whatever reason.
