No Quarter Unhinged Over Obama

With last night's performance on CNN, I'm convinced that Barack Obama will be able to handle any smear that comes his way. I know the inevitability of Hillary Clinton's defeat is making certain bloggers go batshit insane. Look over yonder at what Larry Johnson had to say:

That bastard* Democrat equates the Bill Clinton economy with the George Bush economy. Bill Clinton presided over dramatic job growth and a balanced Federal budget. George Bush has pillaged the treasury and sent our economy into a downward spiral. And in Barack’s world they are one in the same? You know what? I can understand Bill Clinton being upset with Barack Obama. It is bad enough that Republicans smeared him, but here is a guy who claims to be the face of the Democratic party trashing him. That’s not right.

And no mention of President Clinton signing the law that repealed the Glass-Steagall Banking Act of 1933, which led to the current mortgage meltdown. But that's not all. Check out his partner in crime:

That Barack would use the “Annie Oakley” line, and here we see a photo of Annie Oakley herself smack on the front page of HuffPo. Uncanny, it is. Simply uncanny

Brother Barack? WTF? I don't know about you, but as soon as I read it, I started playing word association. Brother Barack. Nation of Islam. Muslim. Islamofascist.

Amidst the drivel there's a comment in there about how Hillary has NEVER mocked Obama.

I feel as though we are on separate planets--I suppose we have made progress in this country that these divisions do not fall along race or gender lines. But when it gets to the point that we can't stand to hear the other candidate even SPEAK, that means we will have some work to do once the nomination has been officially recognized by both candidates.
