VIDEO: Sen. Hillary Clinton responds to Obama's attack earlier in the morning.

"I understand my opponent came this morning and he spent a lot of his time attacking me," she said, before being interrupted with several seconds of murmurs and groans from the crowd. "Well, you know, I know that many of you, like me were disappointed by recent remarks that he made.”

More groans and at least one “No" from the crowd.

“And I think it's important that, you know, we give people the chance to really compare and contrast us,” Clinton continued. “You know, I am well aware that at a fundraiser in San Francisco, he said some things that many people in Pennsylvania and beyond Pennsylvania have found offensive.”

A few more “No”s.

72. Her hypocrisy is blinding. She claims she will "build new jobs" to make...
...American workers richer.

The fact is that SHE has been the eager zealot working to send American jobs to India:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x5470049

And she has promised to continue outsourcing, too.

If she is going to "grow jobs" be assured that once American workers have built up the company by their excellent and loyal work, Hillary will woo the company to send its jobs to India.

Lots of applause and cheering. Contrast that with the utter silence with interspersed groans that Clinton enjoyed, and then decide if it's just "a few Obama dead-enders in the crowd"

13. Here's what Obama said at the same Address - the crowd applauded
"Here's what you can't do. You can't spend the better part of two decades campaigning for NAFTA and PNTR for China, and then come here to Pennsylvania, and tell the steelworkers you've been with them all along," Obama told the Association of American Manufacturers. "You can't say you are opposed to the Colombia Trade deal, while your key strategist is working for the Colombian government to get the deal passed."

"This is the same person who took money from financial folks on Wall Street and then voted for bankruptcy bill that makes it harder for folks right here in Pennsylvania to get a fair shake. Who do you think is out of touch?" Obama said. "This is the same person who spent a decade with her husband campaigning for NAFTA, and now goes around saying she's opposed to NAFTA."

35. Interesting YOU call those people "hayseeds". I call them my fellow Pennsylvanians.
And according to the Post-Gazette poll this morning, more of them think HRC is out of touch with them than think that of Obama. But you know all that. Because you have read all the fact-based, linked posts re what's going on in Pennsylvania and the entire country. Between Senator Bob Casey's endorsement and now Dan Rooney's endorsement, Obama has a lock on Pittsburgh for April 22nd.

39. Yep...polls tell the real story, all right
a twenty-point lead for Clinton shrunk to half that or less. (Recent ARG poll shows Clinton up by 20, but is probably an outlier given that other recent polls show her lead as much less; they've consistently been the worst polling organisation during the primary season, and their sampling methodology is from what I understand questionable.)

Lot of Clinton dead-enders around here, that's for sure.

Edited on Mon Apr-14-08 11:54 AM by ShortnFiery
Not unlike Obama bowling with no experience, I can contest to experience as a woman who's downed her share of shots. Way way back in the late 70s, I (and a couple of other hardy women) trained with guys who later went to Ranger School. It was prep training for this kick a** school that, to date, women are not allow to enroll in (bogus! but that's beside the point).

My point: When you take "a shot" with manly men, you don't SIP! OMG! That is so damn lame!?! You drink the entire shot in one gulp.

Hillary, you f**ked up ... you are a "no go" at the shot taking with the boys STATION.
