Oh Dear he's collapsing in Indiana

Just look at these swings in a week

Indiana Men, Democrats, & Young Voters Move Away From Obama: In a Democratic Primary in Indiana today, 04/14/08, three weeks until the primary, Hillary Clinton defeats Barack Obama 55% to 39%, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted for WCPO-TV Cincinnati and WHAS-TV Louisville. Compared to an identical SurveyUSA poll released two weeks ago, Clinton is up 3 points, Obama is down 4 points. Clinton had led by 9 at the beginning of April, leads by 16 mid-month. Here's where the movement is occurring: Among men, Obama had trailed by 2, now trails by 12, a 10-point swing to Clinton. In greater Indianapolis, Obama had led by 12, now trails by 1, a 13-point swing to Clinton. Among Democrats, Obama had trailed by 12, now trails by 27, a 15-point swing to Clinton. Among voters focused on health care, Clinton had led by 10, now leads by 30, a 20-point swing to Clinton. Among the youngest voters, Obama had led by 19, now trails by 2, a 21-point swing to Clinton.

Sorry I've been away for 8 weeks in Australia but I'm back with a Vengence.

2. SUSA has been the most accurate this season.
And for those Obama people, don't give your myth crap about how "SUSA is not accurate".
We are in PA and will be in every other state fighting to win the nomination for Hillary!

Hillary can only win if she continues to Swift Boat the entire party. If you really want that to happen, keep doing what you're doing.

9. Sorry, she's still in a close to untenable position
SUSA has done well this year, but there are still 3 weeks to go. And there's no evidence at all that SDs are moving to Clinton. She's still a very long shot.

and C.) the disproportionate support of a single demographic. The super delegates are nucking futs if they fail to consider the implications of these facts. Furthermore, they are fools if they think that a large number of Hillary supporters in most every state will be more comfortable voting for John McCain than Barack Obama and even worse yet, Obama is not winning the battle ground states, Hillary is. Barack Obama may look better in the primary run up but in the G|E, he's gonna get beaten. I would bet money on it.

Regarding the OP: SUSA has done quite well this polling season. No reason to not believe these numbers.

I also think Barack is going to have to spend extra time in other states and won't be able to make much of a dent in Indiana.

And you apparently want McSame to win, since destroying the party is the ONLY way to win.

Damn right I'm bitter - and the rest of the party will be too if you keep on this track.

36. that makes no sense
if they were hopeful they wouldn't be swinging wildly on a comment taken out of context as an affront to an identity which has led many to reinforce the sense of victim hood they have rather than pro-actively taking steps to change it. It'd be one thing if they were changing over a policy issue, but this only reinforces the truth Obama was speaking of.

Edited on Mon Apr-14-08 03:21 PM by PetraPooh
that Reps and Indies are allowed to vote in the primary, but it
also states that of the 1600, only 571 were determined to actually be likely to vote in the primary. Could that mean that 1029 are likely republicans that aren't even going to vote in the democratic primary? This isn't as bad as it looks; breathe people.

"1,600 state of Indiana adults were interviewed 04/11/08 through 04/13/08. All interviews were completed before the Democratic candidates appeared in a "compassion forum" the evening of 04/13/08. Of the adults, 1,386 were registered to vote. Of them, 571 were determined by SurveyUSA to be likely to vote in the 05/06/08 Indiana Democratic Primary. Indiana has 72 Democratic convention delegates, which are awarded proportionally. Republicans and Independents are technically eligible to vote in Indiana's 'open' primary."

59. McCain wants to run against Hillary -- tells staff to lay off her
Republican presidential hopeful John McCain has confided to his inner circle that Hillary Clinton may yet be the Democratic nominee, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned, a development the senator from Arizona would personally welcome!

"Look, I know something about long odds, they had me written off last summer," McCain explained over the weekend, according to a top source.

McCain would prefer to go up against Clinton in the general election, insiders reveal.

He has instructed his campaign staff to "chill out" on countering Hillary Clinton's torrent of claims and promises as primary voting comes to an end over the next 6 weeks.

McCain made the tactical decision to downplay Clinton's tale of Bosnia sniper fire, leaving some McCain staffers frustrated and perplexed.

Instead, the critical focus has been on Barack Obama. McCain's official website features 14 press releases taking on Obama since the first of the year, only 3 for the former first lady.
