If we are going to use smear tactics against candidates for discussing the truth about mainstream core concepts agreed to by both progressive and centrist Dems, i think it's pretty safe to say this party is completely morally bankrupt.

3. I'm more hoping for a purge of DLC sellout-centrism from the Democratic Party.
That's what the whole Clinton/Obama fight's about. The direction of the Democratic party. Do we continue the failed strategies of triangulation and marginalization of the left? Or do we truly become the people's party and start to fight for what's right and what's fair for ordinary people?

4. Centerist Dems are called the DLC, and that is the problem with this party.........
barring a few repug elected officials, almost all are far to the right. The Democrats are suppose to be the left of the spectrum, not centerists.

Centerist Democrats won Bill the White House, but lost us both chambers of Congress under his tenure.
