17. Every Labor Day, we attend "Goldstock" -

a Golden Retriever Rescue reunion - at a summer camp northeast of Scranton in the Endless Mountains.

There's no heat there, either (except in the infirmary) and people pay tens of thousands of dollars to send their kids there for summer camp.

The reason? They don't need it!

By the end of Labor Day, the maples there start to turn and it's chilly at night by then, but we do fine without any heat in our cabin.
