Is calling Hillary Clinton Annie Oakley similar to likening Obama's SC win to Jessie Jackson?
Does that play on the fact that she is woman like the Jessie Jackson quote played on the fact that Obama is black?

1. The argument against Obama is that he won SC because he was black
I dont see the same magnitude with Obama's Oakley comment.

4. Yes, she's a great folk hero. And Hillary Clinton's no Annie Oakley. She just
thinks she is.

8. no. That was part of a concerted effort by team Clinton
to frame Obama as a fringe minority candidate who couldn't appeal to white voters in the upcoming states. His comment about Annie Oakley is akin to Clinton mocking him for remarks he's made.

Then people would be screaming he was calling her a man or a cross dresser, geesh. I think it was evident what he was getting at.

11. There was nothing inherently racial in Clinton's comment
-- this was all speculation. Obama clearly meant to mock Sen. Clinton.

The two are certainly dissimilar.

If not, the comments bear no relationship to one another.

(try adding this line: Annie Oakley won Pennsylvania, too, but she didn't get the nomination).
