Rep. Geoff Davis (R-KY) Apologizes to Obama for calling him a "boy".
Dear Senator Obama:

On Saturday night I gave a speech in which I used a poor choice of words when discussing the national security policy positions of the Presidential candidates. I was quoted as saying "That boy's finger does not need to be on the button."

My poor choice of words is regrettable and was in no way meant to impugn you or your integrity. I offer my sincere apology to you and ask for your forgiveness.

Though we may disagree on many issues, I know that we share the goal of a prosperous, secure future for our nation. My comment has detracted from the dialogue that we should all be having on legitimate policy differences and in no way reflects the personal and professional respect I have for you.

Sincerely
Geoff Davis

I won't forgive the mutha fucka he meant that shit! He's probably been to plenty of Klan meetings. The republican party has been racist my entire life so no no he does not deserve forgiveness. McCain voted against MLK's birthday, Dubya flew over New Orleans during Katrina, George Allen called a black camera man macaca,Pat Buchanan telling us black folks to be proud of slavery, Sean Hannity and his white supremist Hal Turner. I'm sick of the racist right wing. When they use racial innuendos they mean that shit!

10. I see it as a chance for Barack to show his magnanimity.
Forgiveness comes from strength of character, which Obama has in great measure. When he is President, he's going to have to govern for the small-minded and twisted little souls too.

8. I'm gonna love the run up to the General Election when Obama is the nominee
The GOP will be exposed for the racists they are. They just won't be able to contain themselves.

12. Why do some Republicans have better manners than the Clintons?
I don't care whether the Republican meant his apology or not. He gave it. Unreservedly, in a timely fashion.

The Clintons have been so amazingly ingracious this election. That's wrong on a number of levels.
