Gore, Carter, Edwards: Now's the Time!
Edited on Mon Apr-14-08 10:20 PM by Stephanie

Do not sit idly by while Hillary Clinton willfully destroys our Democratic Party. Speak out!

I call upon you to do your patriotic duty for the sake of the party, the nation and the planet.
Stand behind Obama and the values we Democrats believe in.

Announce your endorsement of Barack Obama! DO IT TODAY!

1. Think Edward's might be irked by Hillary's use of the Southern Strategy against Obama?

7. I would hope so.
The wedge issues over economic benefits for the attacked middle-class should piss Edwards off.

2. Sadly, I think they are not gonna do it
They won't endorse until all the primaries are over.

Then they all go for Obama.

only hillary supporters can use sexist terms to describe folks or actions that do not comport to their purpose.

Take time to notice how many clinton supporters use sexist terms or gender based insults, how many use the word "whore" to describe the media that isn't "kind" (code for "that reports the facts") or a politician they don't like.

Carter said the Super delegates should support the winner of the pledged delegates. That would be Sen. Obama.

21. I think they are likely to endorse but not right now
It is too late to do it before PA. Because doing it now will quickly be washed out and may be viewed as interfering.

A few days after PA or after May 13th perhaps.

In the game of politics my guess is they would want the supers that plan to switch on the 23rd have their day before they come in and Endorse.

Just my view. For all we know it could be the 23rd or Mid May or never.

27. He is smart enough to know that Obama cant do jack crap about Healthcare on his own.
That kind of stuff comes from congress. And congress is not going to vote on a major healthcare change to appease the president.

If Congress puts a good healthcare bill on his desk the he vetos (Less likely than Bush ending the war) there will be chaos from all sides.

Giving an endorsement to Obama does not equal him giving his endorsement to his health care plan. This isn't a damn monarchy.

He can endorse Obama then lay into his Healthcare plan and only idiots will think that is wrong.

32. Don't spin things.
No the bigger problem on both sides is people are thinking the president can do these things. These are issues that need to be discussed with the congressional candidates this year.

Any health care system is 100 percent game of Congress. If you really want it then I strongly suggest you contact the campaigns of people running.

33. Universal health care is meaningless if it's not single-payer.
They're both bad on this point. The only difference is, Hillary will fine you or dock your wages if you don't purchase insurance from one of her corporate sponsors.

35. Let us not get into a debate on Healthcare on this topic.
I think the best thing is that we hope that people will call for Congress to pass a good system that benefits as many as possible.

Then the media can stir up the 2000 election again, get the leftwing frothing-mad in the lead-up to Obama-v-McBush.

'I will avenge you, brothers Gore and Kerry!'
