Edited on Tue Apr-15-08 09:05 AM by DerekJ
In the race for the Democratic Presidential Nomination, Obama leads Clinton 50% to 41%. New polling data released today shows that, with just one week to go, Clinton has opened a nine-percentage point lead in Pennsylvania.

1. Nice! Bad news on PA though
They have not released the #'s yet, but said that she now leads by 9 in PA (up from 6 last week). Not a dramatic difference but not encouraging.

4. It's still within the margin of error from their latest poll, and from the new Quinnipiac

university poll.

Quinnipiac university poll is most likely more accurate because it surveyed over 2000 people.

In all cases it's an indication that any poll showing Hillary winning by over 10% IS in fact an outlier.

Edit: typo

6. If that is all there is, not bad.
We had to expect some fallout just from the tone used by the talking heads "Oooooooo - baaaaaaad".

Now, get that behind him, capitalize on the Rooney endorsement, and GOTV!

9. I don't think those 3 points can be considered a fall out.
I think the numbers are pretty steady. It's within the margin of error from their latest poll.

However anything under 10 will be awesome.

7. It is still under 10
And I think it can be kept under 10 if Obama continues to campaign hard and we get out the vote!

And Phonebank!!

12. Well they do have the news that she has restored some of her lead.
Tho I guess even they realize that Obama campaigning will likely get it within 5 again!

BTW please Phonebank for a win!

15. Hillary must have had a really shitty polling day yesterday.
Head-to-head takes a hit against both Obama and McCain. Faves also way way down.

Sorry, Hill... You LOSE!

21. Gee, you don't think her obvious pandering (again!) had anything to do with it do you?
- "I shot a duck once..."
- downing a shot with beer chaser
- suddenly deciding door-to-door is what she's all about ...

She just makes me sick.

17. Clinton has "opened up" a 9-point lead in PA. Nice spin, pollsters
Edited on Tue Apr-15-08 09:56 AM by CakeGrrl
since another way to look at it is that she's blown a 20+ point lead.

And over 50% in the negative. Not really the way to win.

20. Ras
This Is good for you.Obama Is rising In a right wing leading poll.and If they have Hillary only 9
ahead In PA this means a good shot she will win In Singel digets.Obama was never expected to win here
but If the story can be framed of Hillary going for 20 + lead to being In single diget win that Is easily a spin victory. And RAS even has Obama winning against Mccain In November.
