She was supposed to be crowned Democratic nominee for president ages ago (her mega-machine and contributing lobbyists were meant to ensure it), and now this whippersnapper who thinks politics should be about the people, who speaks to voters as if they were intelligent and discerning, who has the audacity to believe that the United States can be governed with wisdom and that its citizens might be evolved enough to unite in the best interests of the country and the world, has usurped her place at the top of the hill.
Since I'm visiting New Orleans for a few days, an old Southern saying comes to mind. "Pretty is as pretty does," people remind those who might grow a bit too full of themselves.
In Hillary's case, BITTER IS AS BITTER DOES. Her part in this week's charade says it all!
