Obama Supporters from Everywhere - Can You Please Help out in Pennsylvania?
Hey Everyone!! There's a fired up group of people in Pennsylvania working their butts off for Obama and they're wondering if you can help out!! I attended an Obama meeting recently and the passion for what we can do with and for Obama is so high! It's amazing to see such a mixed group of people with the same goals in mind - white and black, young and old, people dressed up, people dressed down. Each one with the look of (dare I say it?) HOPE on their face for a chance to do some good in the country.

IF YOU'RE IN PENNSYLVANIA OR LIVE CLOSE ENOUGH TO DRIVE THERE:

1. Please check out this list of events going on in Pennsylvania and choose one that's near you. You won't regret attending it!! I recommend Hillary supporters join in, too. You'll get a sense that this is an organization that will propel the Democratic Party to a win in November.

2. This handy page will link you up directly with the group that is best for you, fill out the form and you will get information about a location in PA that is near you and matches you and what you'd like to do with the campaign's needs:

3. Host a volunteer in your home, people are flying into PA this week to GOTV. Their needs are not great, a couch or air mattress and bathroom is pretty much all they're asking. They'll be canvassing from morning to night and shouldn't need meals, just a place to rest their heads at night and restore their energy for the next day. This is a great way to help out if going door to door isn't your thing.

4. Call your local Obama campaign office and ask them what they need. These guys have so much energy but they're not machines, some support and maybe home-made brownies or a bucket of fried chicken or any type of comfort food would probably give them a pick-me-up and keep them energized. They've been working for so many months and been away from home longer than any of them ever expected, let's show them our appreciation. (Can't find the link on Obama's page to the PA campaign offices, does anyone have that?)

IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE THE PENNSYLVANIA AREA:

1. Phone bank from your home (click on PA or NC, they're both being actively canvassed now)

http://my.barackobama.com/page/content/actioncenter

2. Help Obama reach his goal of 1.5 million donors by May 6. Send this link to anyone you know who'd like to give $10 or $20 to go toward the future of this country:

FOR EVERYONE:

PLEASE HELP ME KEEP THIS KICKED THIS WEEK so we can match up this energy that is growing across America with what needs to be done in Pennsylvania and NC!! Thank you everyone!!!

4. Someone on Countdown last night said he is the first candidate to have
financial support that is, for the most part, by the people. I love being part of that.

3. My son and I will be phone banking. Should be interesting
and fun and we're all fired up for it! We did hundreds of calls here in Colorado and made sure we won our precinct for Obama.

6. Let us know how it goes! I wonder if this thread can also be used as a way
for people who want to go to PA but don't want to go alone can get together and plan trips together?

8. A PA win would be great!
Now solidly behind Obama, we'll be phone banking here in Ohio.

HRC's behavior had as much to do with our choice as anything. It's not that she fights so hard. That I respect. It's the mud slinging and pandering I can't get past.

Gobama!
