That's 100 mayors, from 100 cities, in 36 counties. Pretty impressive, eh?

Yes, but there are 67 counties in Pennsylvania. So Hillary received support from about 54% of all counties.

Still not bad, right. That's more than half!

But there are over 9,900 cities and towns in those counties. So Hillary received support from about 1% of all those places.

1%?

ONE PERCENT?

WOOT! WOOT! Go Hillary!

14. But 1% + 1% = 2%, right?
If she keeps announcing the 1%, it will all add up, and eventually 125% of all mayors in PA will have backed Hillary!

2. Just read that only 19 showed up
But I guess that's understandable, since it may not be practical for small town mayors to travel to a central location in a state that takes 8 hours to drive across.

4. Wha? It takes 8 hours to drive across PA?
That can't be right... I can make it to Galveston from N. TX in 5 hours.

:wtf:

11. Yep, it takes a loooong time to drive across Penn.
The freeway system in that state is totally bitter...

10. 8 hours, uphill, under sniper fire...
PA is, at most, 6 hours across.

18. Yeah, I will give credit ...
for the point about small town mayors ...

Most of these endorsements are from mayors of small towns who have actual jobs outside of being mayor ...

As for the driving across ... 80 goes fairly straight from NJ to Ohio, and if you roll it at 70 or so nonstop you can do it in under 6 hours ... But, getting from Erie to the state capital in Harrisburg, probably the longest ride to get there from any point in the state is going to be close to that, too, given having to take other roads and the such ...

23. Maybe you're right
I guess it depends on the weather and the traffic. It could be done in as little as 6 hours, if there is no traffic. I've never done the entire trip...I've gone from Philly to Harrisburg and gone through PA to get to Ohio from DC, but I have never driven all the way across PA, so I could be off here.

9. I am so glad my cousin isn't on that list
He's one of the mayors in a city near Pittsburgh and I haven't talked to him about who he is supporting but I'm sure glad he's not a part of this sham.

I was curious when those idiots started the other threads. I didn't look up total number of mayors though.
