Is "Dead-Eye" Hillary One Too Many Shots-And-A-Beer Chasers Over The Line?

The Killer Elite?
Dead-Eye Hil and the Elitist
By MICHAEL DONNELLY
MICHAEL DONNELLY wonders if he and pretty much everyone he knows are "elitists" for believing Joe Bageant and Barack Obama are dead-on and that dead-eye Hil is one too many shots-and-a-beer-chasers over the line?

It's come to this: a white, Ivy League grad from a wealthy Republican family calls a mixed-race black kid from a single-mom family an "elitist" and the racists and shoulder-pad feminists pile on - desperate for any excuse to not vote for a black male who worked for $10,000 per year as an Inner City community organizer out of college and just recently paid off his student loans.

Said ambitious, wealthy white woman worked as an attorney right out of college and quickly became a partner in one of Arkansas' most prestigious (at the time) law firms. She has a net worth of over $109 million--all garnered in the last eight years. Before that she claimed to be some $7 million in debt due to legal bills. Her family net worth is over 100 times that of the "elitist" she scorns.

To contrast herself with her "elitist" opponent, HRC then went on to reveal her heretofore unseen redneck persona (persona version 8.2) by touting her time as a kid being taught to shoot guns by her grandfather at her family's (non-elitist, of course) lakeside cottage. She bragged about her one hunting experience when Arkansas' salt-of-the-earth First Lady:

And, she made sure to be seen tossing back a shot of Crown Royal (no elitist Jack Daniels for her) and eating pizza at an Indiana bar again with all male companions.

1. despicable duplicitous politics in the title
Apparently Obama can guzzle beer without criticism, but not Clinton.

in public. Not one that would like to keep her job anway. Evidently, it upsets seniors.

3. Fucking sexist crap is what I call that article. "Shoulder-pad feminists"
Everyone needs to stop calling everyone names, Hillary and Barack and everyone else. We're all on one damn side of this, and I'm sick to death of this crap.

4. Gotta give her this much: HRC has guts - she's unafraid to make a parody of herself.
"Crown Royal (no elitist Jack Daniels for her)" Perfect. :spray:

5. Well, one thing is for certain, Mr. Donnelly does not know anything
about whiskey. Jack Daniels is generally cheaper than Crown Royal. And neither one of them are "elite" whiskies.

8. Some Crown Royal Is Very Expensive
I'm not a whiskey drinker, however you can buy Crown Royal XT 750 ML at Wally's Wines in Los Angeles for $189.99. That sure sounds elite to me!

Glad I'm not a whiskey drinker.

9. The Crown you are talking about is most likely a small batch or extra
rare, that has been aged longer. I pay 23.99 less a 10% discount for the Crown I buy for my bar. And between 15.99 and 19.99 for Jack, less the same discount. We use Jack as our well bourbon.

When I think off "elite" whiskies, I think of single malt scotches, or premium Irish.

7. Belting back Shots with Beer chasers....
Edited on Tue Apr-15-08 04:17 PM by DearAbby
Hell man, that is a boiler maker. Only the hardened drinkers can do that shit. I can't mix my booze...I start on beer, it stays beer...start on the harder stuff, stays with that...I mix the two, I am guaranteed to be clinging to the porcelain throne before the night is over.
