****** IT'S INTERESTING ******
It's interesting here the ratio of RECS to REPLIES. The higher ratios appear to strongly support Barack Obama as if it were a poll. It also indicates that those in the know, those that know how to listen and read are supporting Obama.

It's interesting that Obama's Gallup polls keep rising in spite of bitter-gate. A slam on Hillary and the MSN?

It's interesting that the Pope's mission to the U.S. is a "Mission of HOPE and Religion." HOPE? Does that mean that he's supporting Obama?

Hillary, beware the sniper firing...even if the bullets are symbolically truth and HOPE.

An educated, bitter-man vet voting and strongly supporting Barack Obama's candidacy.

1. Eight years in political polling would never lead me to the conclusions you draw here.
DU is not representative of Dem voters as a whole or either candidate's supporters.

4. In spite of bitter-gate... in spite of the relentless attacks about what Wright said...
in spite of "Plagiarism-gate"... in spite of "less experienced than McCain"...

5. but..
The MSM has downplayed the effect of Barack Obama's fundraising speech at a San Francisco last week... Along with the revelations about Obama's pastor Jeremiah Wright, his remarks in San Francisco will haunt him not only in the upcoming primaries in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Kentucky, and West Virginia, but also in the GE against John McCain, IF he gets the Democratic nomination.

10. Not sure about your logo
But you sure do emphasize the point that he's black and has ears that stick out. Did you make this up or did it come from Hillary headquarters? It's very reminiscent of the anti-Semitic caricatures from the White Supremacists.

6. Sorry, I don't follow you...
Are you saying threads with a high REC-to-REPLY ratio tend to be supportive of Obama, and that this means that Obama supporters are knowledgeable and good listeners/readers?

I don't see how you draw that conclusion.

7. I'm for Obama, and I'm bitter.
The war, the conduct of the war, the economy, friends of mine who continue to support a bankrupt ideology that has created a dangerous economic imbalance in our country, our tragic and unconscionable health care failure, the sorry state of access to higher education, hey the sorry state of many of our public schools in economically depressed communities....those are among the the things that make me bitter.

Bring it on....Go on ahead, I say to those who mock or deride my bitterness. I don't care what they think. I love my country, I respect the potential of the American people. And I am bitter about this sorry mess we are in. It is so unnecessary.

Thanks Alii. I feel a bit better, now.
