MEGALOMANIAC bigdog says young voters are stupid
http://www.boston.com/news/politics/politicalintelligence/2008/04/bill_clinton_ol.html
-----------------------------------------------------------------

To me young voters are ON TO THE LOSERs the ClintonS........Yo Bill go away your time is past!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
QUAKERTOWN, Pa. -- Older voters gravitate to Hillary Clinton because they're too wise to be fooled by Barack Obama's rhetoric, former president Bill Clinton told Pennsylvania voters today.

Clinton's comments, to a packed high school gym about an hour north of Philadelphia, were one part presidential politics and one part legacy protection. His beef was with Obama's contention that many of the problems facing the country today were simmering long before President Bush took office seven-plus years ago.

which led to the subprime crisis are being exposed. And let's not forget the vote on the IWR (which they thought would be Hillary's ticket to the Whitehouse).

the MORE we realized how wrong we were. Idealism is GREAT; it just has NO PLACE in politics or elections.

10. Bill Clinton says that older people remember the 1990s...
...is a better way to summarize what he said.

=====
"I think there is a big reason there's an age difference in a lot of these polls," he said. "Because once you've reached a certain age, you won't sit there and listen to somebody tell you there's really no difference between what happened in the Bush years and the Clinton years; that there's not much difference in how small-town Pennsylvania fared when I was president, and in this decade."

12. I wonder if that comment, that insults an entire group of people
will get the same coverage and outrage from the media that Obama's "bitter" comment did? To me, it seems much worse to call a group "unwise" than it is to say a group is "bitter".

I won't hold my breath waiting for the 24/7 media coverage.

13. Maybe this levels the field somewhat?
Boomers and older were insulted early, if they chose that interpretation.
Now, youth can feel insulted, if they choose that interpretation.

And on with the primaries....

14. This "older voter" calls bullshit on that.
In fact Ms Tom, who is hillary's prime demographic (60+ middle class white women) said she will sit this one out if hillary is the nominee. I have 6 months to talk her out of that and I think I can do it, but one year ago she was looking forward to a hillary presidency. And for both of us, bill's performance in the campaign has been a heeuge part of why neither of us supports a clinton candidacy.

He needs to spend the rest of his days riding around in daddy bus's golf cart reminiscing about the good ol days when they both made the world safe for corporations.

And hillary? I would suggest that after this sorry performance her senate seat may be in some jeopardy. Or she may just lose interest and leave before the end of her term.

to be heard, who wanted to be taken seriously, who wanted to end the war... all of a sudden think young voters are stupid and shouldn't be taken seriously. If I had a nickle for every "pimple faced" slur I have heard out of Clinton supporters... I would be rich.

26. Younger voters, who are more likely to utilize the internet to research information, are better
informed than ever before-this is the reason they support Sen Obama.

I believe it took years to evaluate the policies that Bill put in place (NAFTA, FAVORED TRADE W CHINA, TELECOM ACT OF '96, BANKING MERGERS). Many well informed people have realized that those policies, while they might have been good in the short term, have helped cause our current problems.
