4-16: Hillary lies yet again - this time about reason for an endorsement
Here's what Hillary says on her Web site:

BILLINGS, MT - Today, Hillary Clinton received the endorsement of another prominent Montana leader, Yellowstone County Commissioner Bill Kennedy.

Kennedy said Sen. Obama's remarks last week at a San Francisco fundraiser solidified his support for Sen. Clinton. Speaking about rural voters, Obama told a group of California donors " it's not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

However, Mr. Kennedy tells a different story

“I had been leaning toward Hillary for months,” Kennedy said. “I actually decided to endorse her two weeks ago.”

So, by his own admission, he decided to endorse her almost a week before Obama made his remarks.

How embarrassing for Mr. Kennedy -- to endorse someone with severe credibility problems and then find out they lied about your endorsement.

2. To be fair the story says that the "bittergate" solidified his support for her.

Edited to add: I see now where you could think that. He did say he decided 2 weeks ago.

3. I wonder if her latest lie undermined his "solidified" support
You endorse someone because you think your endorsement is important and you want to be recognized for that. Instead, they brag about your endorsement, not because they think you're important, but because they can use you -- wrongly it turns out -- to take another potshot at Obama.

This is probably why so many former Clinton supporters have abandoned them -- they feel used.

4. Like Sophie Masloff Endorsement
Sophie Masloff is a very elderly superdelegate in PA. Masloff had endorsed Clinton months ago. Then, she said she was uncomitted. Then, when she said last month she was going to vote Clinton, the Clinton campaign made a huge announcement.

7. What a slap in the face by the Clinton campaign to the man who just endorsed her.
She needs to learn to tell the truth...but I really don't think this is possible at this stage of her life. Lying seems to be a core value of her being.

11. Not contrary statements...
He "decided" 2 weeks ago... but "bitter" comments "solidified" his support.

I doubt the sincerity of his more recent comments, but they're not conflicting.
