4. Yep he politely told George that he's full of shit
for carping on the who knows who. And HRC smirks on. Bad night for her, she looks and sounds vindictive.

The only thing Hillary is wiping off the floor is ... well, after TubGirl was posted again, I won't go gross.

12. ABC is pro-establishment always has been-this is a clue!
Pro Hillary then, OF COURSE. Wake up people! Hillary is not your friend. Being pro-Hillary is like being pro-China. So some little people get murdered, and they lose all their rights, what's the big deal??? China smiles and so does Hillary.

as this, I would have. However, what is your point?

15. My point is this:
When there was a large field of candidates, Obama and HRC got the majority of talk time, with Edwards not far behind them. The other candidates might not even have been on the stage at all; they were thrown a few begrudging questions, and those weren't exactly substantive questions.

There was no massive outcry, no big outrage, over that.

Apparently, bad debates are only offensive if they treat Obama unfairly, but the rest are fair game.

That's hypocrisy in action.

18. Evidently, you did not see the posts or whatever. There was especially
Edited on Thu Apr-17-08 07:24 PM by EV_Ares
a lot of outcry about Kucinich not being given equal time along with the rest.

Really don't know where you were that you missed it. I think others that are still on this board and here during that time will also vouch for the outcries.

It appears that you refuse to admit that and only are trying to say ABC was fair in their whatever the hell it was last night. It sure as hell was not a debate but a hit piece in Charly Gibson's war.

Worst. Debate. Ever.
Richard Adams / Barack Obama / Hillary Clinton 11:30pm
Almost a year since the Democrats had their first debate of the presidential campaign, and what did we get in the latest one? A stinker, an absolute car crash - thanks to the host network ABC. It was worse than even those debates last year with 18 candidates on stage, including crazy old Mike Gravel.

It took almost 50 minutes into the debate before the first question came that resembled something to do with policy, rather than warmed-up campaign sniping phrased as questions, and which ran the gamut from banal to inane. At the end of the debate members of the crowd appeared to be booing moderator Charlie Gibson.

The blogosphere was not happy. Not happy at all....

19. I was right here.
Actually, I've been here for 5.5 years.

I remember DK supporters talking about it, and a very small handful of others; those whose candidates were also treated unfairly. I also remember that few others were concerned, especially the Clinton and Obama supporters. It was dismissed as unimportant.

I really appreciated Chris Dodd's talk clock, and I know that there were a handful of people who paid attention. DK was not the only candidate to be snubbed at the debates; just about all of them outside of HRC and Obama, and, to a lesser extent, Edwards, were.

I'm not "trying" to say anything, and what I am saying has nothing to do with ABC's fairness, or lack of fairness.

I think I've been consistently clear about ALL of the so-called "debates." Not a single one was democratic or substantive, and that includes the most recent.

My point isn't about ABC, but about the hypocrisy, from my point of view, of those who were silent and dismissive when it wasn't their candidate, and suddenly want to storm the citadel when it is.

Of course, I should be glad that more people are finally stepping forward. Instead, I find myself "bitter."

20. OK, thanks for taking the time for the explanation and it sounds like
you and I are on the same page about this sort of stuff. I know I was especially disappointed for Kucinich as I think he had a lot to say of which he was totally denied the opportunities. The problem which I am sure you know is not so much with our candidates as with the media. They are really terrible and I hope that is something that can be corrected sometime.

Thanks again and see you around. Sorry if I misunderstood exactly where you were coming from.

23. The Clinton supporters' point is that they're going to get every Democrat BACK. They'll show US....
... Rather than making sure no Democrat is treated this way, they take their glee in ensuring that ANY Democrat is treated this way.
