BARACK OBAMA won this Debate. He was attacked more which makes Hillary a LOSER!
Edited on Wed Apr-16-08 08:54 PM by FrenchieCat
Stephanopoulos gave Hillary the questions before the debate, when shopping for attacks over at Hannity, and Obama still is kicking their asses.

The Right Wing and the Corporate Wing have lost.

Don't listen to the spin.

15. George S. was on Hannity today, took notes on what Hannity
had questions about (Ayers) and asked the question. So, who's fooling who? And why is George so lame that he couldn't think of his own questions?

Edited on Wed Apr-16-08 09:17 PM by jackson_dem
1 million people voted in the primary but not in the caucus. That speaks volumes...

Speaking of primaries vs. caucuses, the "non-binding" Washington primary had more than double turnout of the sham caucus Obama won 68-31. He won the primary only 50-47. It is clear he benefits from disenfranchising working folks, seniors, and immigrants which are the unintended consequence of sham caucuses.

than Clinton? Who has the superb ground game? Who was the 'incumbent' and what happened with that?
You're nitpicking and I'm not into arguing with you. Look at the whole picture.

And FTR, I'm as far from an 'elitist' as you'd ever want to meet. But Clinton calling Obama that is particularly funny, neah, ironic.

When he talks, they look like they believe him and are waiting to see what he'll say, and like they're tired of the crappy questions.

66. Obama Camp Response on Debate
Obama Camp Response on Debate

A statement from Obama campaign manager David Plouffe: “Tonight we saw a real choice between the old politics of point-scoring and distraction and a politics that focuses on bringing us together to actually solve the challenges we talk about every single election. Continuing the theme of her campaign, Senator Clinton used every single opportunity she had to launch misleading attack after misleading attack against Barack Obama, which is why polls show that most Americans think she’s running the most negative campaign and don’t believe she’s trustworthy. Barack Obama spoke about the issues that actually matter in people’s lives, like how he plans to end the war in Iraq, cut middle-class taxes, help people stay in their homes, and provide a secure retirement for our seniors. That’s why more Americans are putting their trust in Barack Obama to bring about the change we need in Washington."

ABC Hosts Heckled After Debate

Reflecting what seemed to be the main consensus of the night - that ABC botched this debate, big time - Charlie Gibson tells the crowd there will be one more, superfluous commercial break of the night and is subsequently jeered.

"OH..." he declares, hands raised in defense. "The crowd is turning on me, the crowd is turning on me."
