The Disney "News" Network holds debate to promote their Baby Einstein product line
As many of you know ABC is owned by Disney, and tonight their debate questions were clearly written by the same people who make their Baby Einstein line of products. You could almost see the little kitten puppet bounce across the screen saying "Look at me." They hoped we could just stare at the screen and focus on the little kitty and forget about the environment around us.

They want to be our televised babysitters, they want to make us believe that we have nothing to fear expect for those bad men who say mean things about people being bitter.

But as much as they might want to believe we are children we are not. We know the issues that face this country, and whether or not a person wears a flag lapel pin is not a real issue. It is a distraction. It is a distraction from global warming. It is a distraction from the failing economy. It is a distraction from Iraq. It is a distraction from torture. And of course is is a distraction from the fact that MEDIA CONSOLIDATION HAS LEFT US WITH MICKEY MOUSE AND GOOFY MODERATING OUR PRESIDENTIAL DEBATES.

This is not something we need to accept though. We successfully got our candidates to refuse to appear on Fox in the past, now we need to put pressure on them to refuse to appear on ABC. If ABC refuses to be a real news network they should not be treated as a real news network. Write to the candidates, write to your members of Congress, post on the blogs, and tell them to refuse to do any more interviews with ABC. Our candidates wouldn't appear to be interviewed on a Baby Einstein video, and they should not appear on a network that is run by the same people who make the Baby Einstein videos.

From here on out do not refer to them as ABC, they are owned by Disney and we need to refer to them as the Disney "News" Network. They are not credible and we should not treat them as if they are.
