We need to do all we can to make sure the story told about tonight's debate is the one that should be told. What Obama and Clinton said does not matter. This story is about the debate moderators, and the debate itself. This was a shameless, disgusting, and above all blatant attempt at political assassination. I've no fear that ABC/Disney would give a damn about that. But frankly, I don't give a flying rat fuck about what they think. What matters is what story everyone *else* tells about ABC/Disney. "Media Bias" gets thrown around a lot, and often as not it's just a bullshit excuse for a poor performance. That isn't the case tonight. This is about as clear as it gets.

Your job is not to put a call to censor, or censure ABC. Your job is not to bitch about how it even more unfair to your favorite candidate, even if you believe(as I do) that it may have been. That, frankly, doesn't matter. Your job is to spread the word that this was blatant character assassination of both Democratic candidates on prime time TV by a major television network. That's the only goddamned story about tonight that matters.

When the new Presidential Debate Commission was created, and the two parties were the heads, and they started setting the rules with the networks - the League stepped aside. They said they weren't going to be a part of it turning into the farce that it has become.

Though I'm not happy that Obama got hit with more "gate" questions than Hillary, I resented that they took up the entire first half of the debate. And if there's any truth to what I've been hearing about George S. preparing his questions with the help of Sean Hannity--well, we have a job to do, indeed. Whether you are for Obama and Hillary, I say that we give ABC hell tomorrow!!!!
