Tim Russert set the Previous all time debate Moderator limbo bar as low as it can go
Edited on Wed Apr-16-08 09:11 PM by Phoebe Loosinhouse
or so I thought, when he asked Dennis Kucinich, the ONLY Democrat to call for the IMMEDIATE end of the War in Iraq, The ONLY candidate to call for impeachment of the sitting President of the United States, and the only candidate with a plan for Universal Healthcare

IF HE HAD EVER SEEN A UFO.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What more proof does anyone need to dispell them of any notion that the MSM and their corporate masters are interested in any debate about ISSUES?

In every single debate, the Moderators reconfirm that they have no interest whatsoever in covering the policy positions that would benefit average Americans. Instead, they single-mindedly pursue the "gotcha!" Right wing whine of "But that would be a Tax increase!"
Capital gains? Oh my God, because that's your biggest issue right now, isn't it?

Capital gains is the tax that is paid on UNEARNED income, or call it DIVIDENDS AND INTEREST.

Why SHOULDN'T that income be taxed at exactly the same rates as EARNED INCOME?

If it is not, it means the leisure class, or the PARIS HILTONS of the world, get a free ride on the backs of the rest of us. Because, she's certainly earned it, right?

3. The corporate media are the true elitists.
When this thing finally gets settled, I hope Obama and Hillary join together and go after this so-called "liberal media", and I don't give a fuck about backlash from them because they are in the bag for Mccain anyway.
