The saving grace of tonight's debate.
It was a hatchet job, but it was a poorly executed hatchet job. It was about as subtle as a jackhammer in a monastery. Obama still came off looking good - he kept his cool, kept redirecting the conversation from wedge issues and smears like Bittergate, Rev. Wright and flag lapels to real issues like the economy, Iraq and health care. Obama looked good. Everyone around him looked like assholes.

If this piece of excrement doesn't show the MSM bias, what can?

2. Unfortunately they can only show soundbites, which is what they wanted of course.

5. I agree with you there.
FAUX Noise is already chopping the tapes up and putting together abusable snippets.

3. Finally an Objective Opinion.

I'd think it more of: Prelude to November.

4. This will damage ABC with voters
Thats a BIG plus in my book.

They were big GOP boosters in both Bush elections and in 2006.

The Disney corp. has also been a large donor to the RNC from what I remember.

6. Believe I'll skip this one.
I live on the West Coast, but from what I've read here I don't think my blood pressure could stand the strain of watching this fiasco. Since we already knew that the mainstream media is a mouthpiece for the Republican party, why is anyone surprised at what apparently happened?? We should be quite used to it all by now. It will only get worse, so fasten your seat belts.

It took a couple shots of Maker's Mark to get me through this one...
