What's the bellyaching about?
I thought Obama did WELL in the debate!

At least he was truthful and honest!

1. He did well. It was how he was treated that is the problem.
The tabloid questions about meaningless things.

2. The media focus on non-issues
Obama handled it fine. I'm just angry that the media would stoop this low. It's sad and unfortunate.

4. It was stupid shit after stupid shit - not stuff the voters should want to spend time on.
Folks like us who hang around message boards may know the candidates' positions fairly well, or at least we're able to find the details of a particular position on their websites fairly quickly. But many other people haven't paid as close attention, and maybe aren't as handy with the internet. This debate should have been an opportunity for them to learn the candidates' positions on actual issues.

Instead, the first 45+ minutes was TOTAL BULLSHIT. What's worse is that it lowers the bar in (some) voters' minds and might even suggest to them that they should care about that gotcha crap.

It was pathetic. Obama and Hillary did well with what they had to deal with, but it was truly a pathetic display by ABC.

5. Rasining the capital gains tax will not "affect 100 million people".
The "moderators" spewed Puke talking points, over, and over again.

8. Why can't the democratic party host these debates?
You know, so they can surround issues that DEMOCRATS actually care about?
