without admitting you lied?

I guess it depends on what the meaning of lied is.

2. Hilary's discussion tonight regarding her Bosnia trip....My wife says
Hilary admitted lying but I say she still refuses to admit it. She attempted the "too tired" line again.

3. She can't admit she lied and still be considered viable
She'll dance around it with lots of different phrases, but her Bosnia lies were such whoppers that she can't just apologize for lying and hope to move on.

5. Its all in the semantics
They say Misrepresent: "Misrepresent usually involves a deliberate intention to deceive"

I say Lie: "a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive"

6. I thought it was a pretty damning statement.
Didn't she ask for forgiveness? Or am I dreaming that part?
