I didn't watch the debate last night
thank goodness.

I had read bits and pieces about it in GD earlier today.

However, during my ride home, I tuned in to "Democracy Now", and Amy played some segments. She also outlined several of the topics asked.

Obama would have been fully within his rights to tell both George and Charlie to kiss his black ass.

With all the shit going on in the world, who give a rat's ass about a fucking flag pin???

Some passionate comments made by Obama's pastor (which, by the way, I agree with 2000%)???

I'm firmly convinced that America is in such a mess due to "journalists" like those two incompetent jackasses.

1. What Catwoman said. Exactly.
I only watched a part of the debate, but I was thinking he should give them his ass to kiss and walk off the damned stage.

14. Ya know, I would kinda like to see him lose his temper. Bet he'd
look really cool doing that, too. I'm thinking "masterful." Oh yeah, and hot. Thank goodness my husband doesn't come in here. I'd be in big, big trouble.

4. Hey CatWoman would you believe Hannity on his radio show today was bragging about how he supplied
Stephanopoulis with the Ayers question and also suggested that he ask about the Bosnia sniper story? Then he went on to defend ABC against the criticism that they've been getting.

Here's a clue for Stephanopoulis and Gibson: when Sean Hannity is your go-to guy for questions and then for defending your atrocious performance, you have become a right-wing tool.

5. Catwoman, I was going to watch it but I just couldn't bring
myself to do it. I'm with you...thank goodness. I knew I would be disappointed. I've seen some segments and I've read a shitload of comments about it. I couldn't have afforded to watch it as I probably would've had some cardiac issues if I had.

12. I'm with you, Catwoman
I watched the first 50 minutes and was so angry that I felt my blood pressure going off the charts. So I packed it in. I'm still reeling from it.

6. Yep
I was disgusting. The only good thing to come out of it was the fact that my connection to the feed crapped out 3/4 of the way through that travesty.

Oh, for fuck's sake.

It was a hideous joke.

11. You did the right thing. (So did I)
Debates are becoming a joke.

Read a good book or re-arrange your underwear drawer instead.

15. I didn't watch it either CatWoman but...
I have seen several clips since then. Also, I see that he criticized their questions 7 different times during the debate. However, they were hellbent on doing their thang...and Hillary smiled approvingly most of the time.

But, in my opinion, he was the only person there, including the moderators that was even trying to bring some rationality and moderation to the debate. I think the poll on MSNBC that showed Obama winning the debate by 78% to 22% was about right? It was nowhere as bad as the Hillary propagandists would have us believe, in my opinion. I think Hillary will continue to sink in the polls because of these negative attacks and she will be very lucky to win PA by even 1% point.
