Obama seemed the happiest I've seen him yet
Earlier today and on the Colbert Report, his smile was from ear to ear. Anyone thinking another Friday endorsement is coming or does he know something else as to Gore or Edwards. He just looked like a man who knows he's gonna win.

1. Maybe he's decided that was his last primary debate...
...and he's just happy those are behind him.

25. funny how effective a little human interest story can be.
I sent this to my conservative parents. My mom had earlier said she didn't like Obama at all. Now she says she likes him "a little better now".

So if they can be swayed by a little familiarity with the candidate, even though they probably won't vote for him, that bodes well for independent undecideds who would. They just need to get to know him.

4. Look I found on a blog that looks credible.....says 90% of remaining SDs support Obama.
That sounded pretty incredible, so I looked up the about page to get the guy's credentials.

http://blackstarnews.com/new/about.php

"Received his journalistic training at The Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University. After stints at The Journal of Commerce and The Wall Street Journal, Allimadi reported for the New York Times as a metro news stringer. At the New York Times Allimadi honed, among other things, his reportorial skills. Allimadi’s passion for community-based and investigative news reporting took him to the legendary City Sun newspaper, an African American weekly newspaper published by the late Andy Cooper, who served as Allimadi’s mentor.

As an editor of The City Sun, Allimadi exposed corruption, police brutality and thereby developed a reputation as a hard-nosed editor and reporter. In late 1996 The City Sun shut down as a result of Cooper’s failing health conditions. Allimadi vowed to continue The City Sun’s legacy. His commitment to delve deeper into the political, economical and social issues affecting African Americans as well as immigrants from the Caribbean and African, inspired the inception of The Black Star News – a publication that prides itself as the voice for the under-represented peoples. In 1997, Allimadi founded The Black Star News with his savings and those of then partners Ben Otunu and Mana Kasongo; he obtained financial support from Bill and Camille Cosby.

Today, The Black Star News is a renowned investigative newspaper. Following its motto of “Speaking Truth to Empower,” The Black Star News has scored several major news scoops which has garnered for it several awards from the Independent Press Association and national media coverage, including from CNN financial news, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, New York Press, The New York Daily News, The New York Post, The New York Observer, New York magazine, The Village Voice, The Washington Times, and Brill’s Content Magazine.

Allimadi is also author of the runaway best-seller “The Hearts of Darkness, How White Writers Created the Racist Image of Africa,” (Black Star Books, 2003, ISBN 0-9740039-0-5 see; www.theheartsofdarkness.com) available at Barnes & Noble, Amazon.com, Baker & Taylor and other major book sellers."

Here's the link to the post about the delegates:

http://blackstarnews.com/?c=123&a=4445

As DNC chairman Howard Dean urges super delegates to publicly commit their support for a favored candidate, 90% of 300 superdelegates who have yet to publicly back a candidate say they will support Senator Barack Obama, The Black Star News has learned.

What’s more, some superdelegates that Senator Hillary Clinton’s campaign claimed had pledged their support for the New York Senator say they are actually backing Senator Obama.

Based on a survey of 300 of the remaining super delegates, 270 say they will support the Illinois Senator.

The Democratic Party apportions pledged delegates on a proportional basis during the primaries; this means that Senator Obama will win a large chunk of support in the remaining contests, beginning with Pennsylvania on April 22.

If the survey results are accurate, the Illinois Senator who now leads Clinton, is virtually assured of his party’s nomination.

Interesting.

6. It was always assumed most of the Clinton supporters jumped on the bandwagon early, to help support
her "inevitable" strategy and to end it all by Feb 5th

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=saBU6ux0hsQ

It isn't surprising that most of those who remain are Obama supporters

hope and will, of course, not count on anything until it's a done deal..too many roller coaster rides the last 8 years and too many disappointments.

But, we may have gone through all of that to get to the perfect storm of what we need.

If true ..this guy has quite a scoop!

22. I wish they had names.
But, we'll find out soon enough. I think Dean saw what a hatchet job that debate was and is moving to tie things up.

right then and there.

PA.....umm...... doesn't count??? kinda..

But really they do, just not enough to change the outcome

16. He's got the Higher ground

Obama Kenobi: It's over Hillary, I have the high ground.

Darth Hillary: You underestimate my power! You've turned them against me.

Obama Kenobi: You have done that yourself.

Darth Hillary: You took them away from me.

Obama Kenobi: Your anger and lust for power have already done that.

I just wonder who really is the Sith Lord controlling it all.

Say what you will about Hillary, but she's pretty damn "scrappy" in those debates. Worthy fucking adversary.

John McCain is not a worthy fucking adversary.
