1. If this is true, we can move to General mode and defeat the actual nemesis
The greedy Republican Party.

3. Huffpo is reporting it ..

but their link to CNN is broken >

An increasingly firm Howard Dean told CNN again Thursday that he needs superdelegates to say who they're for - and "I need them to say who they're for starting now."

"We cannot give up two or three months of active campaigning and healing time," the Democratic National Committee Chairman told CNN's Wolf Blitzer. "We've got to know who our nominee is."

7. Excellent!
Milton Allimadi, Publisher and Editor-in chief
Milton@blackstarnews.com
Received his journalistic training at The Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University. After stints at The Journal of Commerce and The Wall Street Journal, Allimadi reported for the New York Times as a metro news stringer. At the New York Times Allimadi honed, among other things, his reportorial skills.

Allimadi’s passion for community-based and investigative news reporting took him to the legendary City Sun newspaper, an African American weekly newspaper published by the late Andy Cooper, who served as Allimadi’s mentor.

As an editor of The City Sun, Allimadi exposed corruption, police brutality and thereby developed a reputation as a hard-nosed editor and reporter. In late 1996 The City Sun shut down as a result of Cooper’s failing health conditions. Allimadi vowed to continue The City Sun’s legacy. His commitment to delve deeper into the political, economical and social issues affecting African Americans as well as immigrants from the Caribbean and African, inspired the inception of The Black Star News – a publication that prides itself as the voice for the under-represented peoples. In 1997, Allimadi founded The Black Star News with his savings and those of then partners Ben Otunu and Mana Kasongo; he obtained financial support from Bill and Camille Cosby.

Today, The Black Star News is a renowned investigative newspaper. Following its motto of “Speaking Truth to Empower,” The Black Star News has scored several major news scoops which has garnered for it several awards from the Independent Press Association and national media coverage, including from CNN financial news, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, New York Press, The New York Daily News, The New York Post, The New York Observer, New York magazine, The Village Voice, The Washington Times, and Brill’s Content Magazine.

Allimadi is also author of the runaway best-seller “The Hearts of Darkness, How White Writers Created the Racist Image of Africa,” (Black Star Books, 2003, ISBN 0-9740039-0-5 see; www.theheartsofdarkness.com) available at Barnes & Noble, Amazon.com, Baker & Taylor and other major book sellers.

9. In all acutality, Obama only needs about 98 Superdelegates
to seal it up. 270 will be great!

Make them move, Dean! Now, is the time, let the healing begin and McLame's free ride end!

11. Why is May 6th better than Today?
Are you thinking since Obama is going to have a big win in NC, that would be a better time?

If we get big announcements of several endorsements today through Monday, Obama could take PA, and never look back.

13. We need more sources about the survey. Lets not believe it true before we get sources
Now IF it is somehow even half true Obama will win the nomination.

Dean made the right call on the super call. Something tells me every bit of research he has of reasonable scenarios shows Obama becoming the nominee at this point.

Clinton supporters. I know you are going to be pissed. Please just remain calm as it is likely not true.. However, I (just me) suggest that you start thinking about Obama being the nomineee. Not asking for support just understanding if it happens.

15. Another thing to consider. Timing
Because that many may not endorse anytime soon.

Some have already said they will not endorse until the Convention.

18. 80 of the remaining SD's have said no endorsement until the Convention.
Edited on Fri Apr-18-08 07:19 AM by tekisui
That leaves about 234 that may endorse between now and the Convention.

20. I love Howard Dean. What a damned excellent choice for Chair.
No wonder the Clinton camp didn't want him in there.

I'm glad he is, and let's go whole-hog on that 50-state Democratic presence. Let's make the Pukes defend their indefensible public profile and their pathetic monkey of a president, Goerge W. Bush.

23. I hope this is true. If we don't start campaigning against McCain, soon,
he'll be the presumptive president.

30. We usually have a presumptive nominee by now and they usually
have a good 6 - 8 months to campaign. McCain and his sidekick Lieberbush have been traveling the world playing president. If people get used to the idea of the old geezer in the Oval Office, they'll be happy to vote for him. At the moment, he's completely unchallenged.

I suspect when her March money figures are released, it will become clear how her campaign has been on life support for weeks now.

25. It's well past time. I am kind of pissed at Dean right now for allowing this insanity to go on,
when he does have the power to make it stop. What is going on now can't be good for our chances in November.

29. Actually, no, he only has a voice...no power to stop it.
He has repeatedly said that they must apply to the rules committee before July, and on July 1st to the credentials committee which will be controlled by the one with the most delegates...which would be Obama.

Dean actually only had his voice.
