Well well well April 18th-look what word just popped into the discourse
Gee wonder who would be promoting this word to enter into it

From our friends over at ABC-by the way I have read The Note link twice and I don't see where this comes from oh that's right it is in the headline ....and that should be enough

Hillary Clinton: No Wimps in the White House

http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2008/04/hillary-clint-1.html

April 18, 2008 10:06 AM

ABC News' Eloise Harper Reports: Hillary Clinton thinks the White House is no place for wimps.

Stepping up her criticism of her rival's performance in ABC News' primetime debate on Wednesday, Clinton, D-N.Y., told the FOX affiliate in Philadelphia, "I know he spent all day yesterday complaining about the hard questions he was asked. Being asked tough questions in a debate is nothing like the pressures you face inside the White House. In fact, when the going gets tough, you just can't walk away because we're going to have some very tough decisions that we have to make."

When pressed, Clinton continued the criticism, adding, "When the going gets tough you can't run away. And it's going to be tough going to deal with these hard problems; getting out of Iraq in the right way, turning the economy around, getting universal health care, ending our dependence on foreign oil. The special interests are going to be a lot tougher than 90 minutes of questions from two journalists and we need a president who is going to be up there fighting everyday for the American people and not complain about how much pressure there is, and how hard the questions are."

The Obama campaign didn't waste any time in refuting Clinton's claims.

"Considering the fact that Senator Clinton sat on stage at the last debate and complained to all of America that she always gets the first question, her blatant hypocrisy here is stunning," Obama campaign spokesperson Bill Burton said in a written statement. "But if she'd rather spend her time talking about the same distractions and divisions that Washington is obsessed with, that's her business."

a girl.

And about those tough decisions:

Voted for the IWR - the worst debacle in U.S. history.
Then there is NAFTA and other trade legislation which shipped American jobs overseas.
Plus financial deregulation which led to the subprime crisis.

So far, when it comes to tough decisions, the Clintons don't seem to have a very good track record. Stupid or willing to sell out for greed and power - does it really matter which one? Maybe it's both.

4. Actually, Hillary is correct...the White House is no place for...
a president who cannot take a stand on any controversial topic, who cannot vote yes or no on serious issues and who has a long history of avoiding being caught in the spotlight of public scrutiny.

Yeah, lightweights really can't do this job. When will Obama realize that and step down. By stepping down, he could single-handedly save the party, save the nation, and quite possibly, save the world.

...Please, no more Clintons in the White House.

We've learned from experience that he will start another affair while still being investigated for the previous one, and that Hillary will ignore what is going on until the legal judgment is delivered, and then she will use her own money to buy off the other woman.

Yuck. Enough. We don't need the Clintons and their dick baggage in the White House.

11. He hasn't gone negative has he? Nope. No matter what the MSM wants you to think
I am going to post this later but here it is

Obama has 72 hours. If he can ride out the onslaught that is coming his way over this weekend he will be okay. If he can get to Monday afternoon without taking their bait and going negative or making a really horrendous live-on-the-air move he will be okay. I think the ABC debate was just the opening and they fired their biggest weapons at him and he didn't go down. Stumbled a bit sure but he bounced back up.

This is pretty much the last shot the establishment has of getting rid of the competition for their known quantity. Obama isn't a radical but they also don't have dirt-real personal dirt- to throw at him. Even with the availability of whatever endless wiretapping and spying would normally provide they haven't been able to make him go away or turned the screws on him and make him drop out. This is unknown territory for them and they don't like unknowns. If THEY have anything in their pocket it has to come out now.

It is going to be a rough nasty weekend. Hold on.

7. Her lack of self-awareness is PATHOLOGICAL
If Hillary and Bill hadn't spent the last six months endlessly whining about how she was being mistreated by the Mean Old Media, she might at least be able to make such a claim about Obama with some credibility.

Either she's a total hypocrite and phony, or she has some kind of disease where she forgets what she did and said after five minutes.

First, I don't think Gibson and Snuffleupagus count as journalists. Second, they weren't hard questions. They were bullshit questions. I don't fucking care about flag pins, or guilt by association. We're in a goddamn war. The economy sucks. Plus, she's the one who has the husband that's been complaining because they're picking on the girl. I don't think there's any wimps in this race. Reading that "article", it totally sounds like the Clintons are trying to paint Obama as a wimp. I was just pointing out what was wrong with Hillary's statement about "journalists" asking hard questions. I mean, she's not a stupid woman, and she had to know that those questions were incredibly inane and pointless. I honestly don't know who she's trying to win over. I mean, anyone without an agenda can see that the debate was a farce.

...no matter how she's been treated, she has always performed presidentially and impeccably at ALL the debates. Remarking that she always get the first question at that one debate was done with humor. Obama's refute is lame, and he can twist any way he wants - doesn't change his piss poor performance. His supporters can spam ABC all day long. His PERFORMANCE was lame.

I sure as hell don't want an inept wimp in the White House.

51. It's no wonder Bill has a wondering eye...
I'm convinced he's going to jettison her as soon as all this nonsense is over. I'm starting to feel bad for the guy... OK, now I'm not...

52. I believe anyone mistaking a little girl
Edited on Fri Apr-18-08 12:54 PM by Uncle Joe
greeting them at the airport for sniper fire must be a wimp. I know little girls can be tough when they don't get their way. I remember once when I refused to buy some Girl Scout Cookies and I still have shrapnel wounds from that incident, however I believe terrorists can be much meaner. Therefore of the two remaining candidates I must support the one not afraid of the terrorists, not to mention little girls.

P.S. Don't get me started on little boys, they can be hell too.

57. She wimped out over universal health care
Bankruptcy Reform, and the invasion and occupation of Iraq etc. And her husband wimped out over NAFTA, DOMA, Welfare Reform and on and on.

These two people are proven wimps. They cave in to all things Republican - including triangulating on (which means betraying core Democratic principles) and beating up on Democrats.

I want a Democrat in the White House, not a wimpy Republican Lite who teams up with the Repukes to bully Democrats.

Because that's a real "presidential" response? Throw in a forced laugh too to really inspire.

THE WORLD FROM WASHINGTON
Michael Hirsh

The Democrats’ Wimp Factor

As Obama's patriotism is questioned, he's starting to look more and more like John Kerry in '04.

"There are forces within the Democratic Party who want us to sound like kinder, gentler Republicans. I want us to compete for that great mass of voters that want a party that will stand up for working Americans, family farmers, and people who haven't felt the benefits of the economic upturn."---Paul Wellstone

When you start attacking the validity of (ABC) journalists they group up against you. David Brooks is chief of this attack tactic .

84. A better answer would be...

"We didn't object to tough questions. We were objecting to stupid questions."

Although the spokesman had a very good point. The Clinton team has spent a great deal of time complaining about how poorly the media has treated her this election. So they hardly have room to whine.
