One More Week
http://www.slate.com/id/2185278

Heres the latest delegate counter. Hillary's best chance in remaining states is Pa, but that race is polling at less than 10% difference between them now. A 10 point lead for Hillary gives her 17 delegates out of Pa, well short of the 164 she needs to make up. Then the NC primary would most likely wipe out any gains she would get out of PA. Obama is headed to the Convention with a 150+ pledged delegate lead most likely. The latest Superdelegate #s I saw only gave Hillary a 20 delegate lead.

The numbers simply do not add up. Pennsylvania was her last chance for a big win and it will not happen

2. I guarantee you she could win by 1 vote in PA, and...
...she'll be all over tv declaring it as this huge victory and proof that Obama can't win and that he should drop out and hand the nomination over to her.

And that will be trumpted on DU ad nauseum.

13. I heard a Clinton surrogate say yesterday
That if they win by even 1% they have a huge victory because he outspend them on advertising in PA. I think I heard it on Hardball. That really is lowering expectations. Somebody in the Clinton camp must really be worried about PA.

18. The campaign is jealous that they don't have the money to
spend here to counter him. Remember she had a huge lead several weeks ago in the polls.

3. Not only will Hillary not get the "big" win she needs in PA...
...I believe she may actually lose. There's something happening in Western PA. People are ticked off. Union workers BOOED her on Monday. The Steelers are, with their OWNER, touring for Obama. The endorsements keep rolling in for him. People are OUTRAGED at that "debate".

Something big is happening. If he could pull of an upset, I'm confident it will be the end. I can't wait for these primary results!

14. Incredibly interesting response.
Why do you think so? What do you think of Hillary being BOOED on Monday? What do you think of the Steelers touring for Obama? What do you think about the "debate" backlash?

You always give these one line replies with absolutely no substance. I'd like to hear what you THINK for once.

19. So you have plenty of time for a million one liners, but no time to explain yourself intellectually.
Sounds about right.

4. 72 hours
Obama has 72 hours. If he can ride out the onslaught that is coming his way over this weekend he will be okay. If he can get to Monday afternoon without taking their bait and going negative or making a really horrendous live-on-the-air move he will be okay. I think the ABC debate was just the opening and they fired their biggest weapons at him and he didn't go down. Stumbled a bit sure but he bounced back up.

This is pretty much the last shot the establishment has of getting rid of the competition for their known quantity. Obama isn't a radical but they also don't have dirt-real personal dirt- to throw at him. Even with the availability of whatever endless wiretapping and spying would normally provide they haven't been able to make him go away or turned the screws on him and make him drop out. This is unknown territory for them and they don't like unknowns. If THEY have anything in their pocket it has to come out now.

It is going to be a rough nasty weekend. Hold on.

11. maybe HRC will really screw things up for obama and run 3rd party
or better yet, endorse McCain.

Or what I suspect is really happening, maybe she's doing us Democrats a favor so we'll still have a viable candidate for when Obama shoots himself in the foot badly enough that the whoremedia can't salvage his candidacy.

Shouldn't you be getting ready to leave the Democratic party and support McCain?
