Clinton's Secretary of Labor Robert Reich Endorses Obama

I believe that Barack Obama should be elected President of the United States.

Although Hillary Clinton has offered solid and sensible policy proposals, Obama's strike me as even more so. His plans for reforming Social Security and health care have a better chance of succeeding. His approaches to the housing crisis and the failures of our financial markets are sounder than hers. His ideas for improving our public schools and confronting the problems of poverty and inequality are more coherent and compelling. He has put forward the more enlightened foreign policy and the more thoughtful plan for controlling global warming

2. Didn't he originally do this months ago?
When was his endorsement actually made?

I'm presuming anyway that Obama will reject this endorsement, as he has nothing good to say about economic policies under Bill Clinton.

12. Or, check out this article from Februrary
Which is a de facto endorsment, IMO.

In the meantime, I'm still waiting for Obama to decline the endorsement, since it is reminiscent of what he seems to think is Bill Clinton's failed presidency.

5. No, even yesterday morning he declined to endorse either candidate
I think you're confusing his several instances of criticism of the Hillary campaign over the last two months as being an endorsement of Obama.

It wasnt.

The guy has been a personal friend of the Clintons since college, this endorsement of Obama wasnt easy for him.

13. I just LOVE how you and at least one other rabid Hillary supporter
are going around trying to downplay the latest "betrayal" by another "Judas".

Do you really think, at this stage, that it makes any difference? At all?

9. "...a better chance of succeeding."
And THAT is a very important factor. Let's quit quibbling about degrees of universality and mandates. Let's talk about appeal and credibility.

20. Not too late, just too short!
Seriously, with Richardson, that 2 ex-Clinton cabinet members to go to Obama. This is an important signal to other superdelegates, no?
