Obama did not "flub" his answer to the flag pin question.
It's all over this board that "Obama is the only one who flubbed the answer to the question." It's interesting that those exact words are used over and over and over verbatim, but that's a different issue.

I take issue with the suggestion that Obama gave the "wrong" answer. My understanding is that Obama said he wouldn't wear a piece of jewelry made in China that purports to represent the flag of the United States of Americ in an effort to pander to jingoistic nationalistic knee-jerk fake "proof" of patriotism.

Obama gave the correct response.

Now, those of you who support candidates who willingly stuck their noses deep into the private parts of the corporate-owned media by gushing about how they just loooooooove to wear the American flag as jewelry (something the armed forces would never do, by the way) - would you like to explain your candidate's embarrassing answer?

Because there's a lot at stake right now.

1. Why is there even such a dumb question and debate to begin with?
As many here know, I am not a huge fan of Senator Obama, but I cheer that he refused to wear that stupid pin.

4. I would have preferred him make reference to the pin he was wearing...
...a few days ago, given to him by a disabled veteran. How THAT pin had more meaning than some cheap hunk of tin formulated and sprayed with lead paint in a Chinese sweat shop. Of course, had he said that, it would have been the "wrong" answer as well, I guess.

5. Right answer - how many soldiers wear flag pins in combat ?
are those that don't unpatriotic and the pro-war civilians wearing flag pins patriotic?
