PLEASE PEOPLE! TELL ME YOU WILL VOTE DEM NO MATTER WHAT IN NOVEMBER!
THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS!

(by the way, I would have said "PLEASE FRIENDS..." but then I would have sounded too much like our true enemy in November)!

81. I won't vote for Hillary. Period. Especially after she has slammed Obama supporters...
for months.

In fact, the silence of the DNC and DemoCelebrities like Pelosi, Reid and Ted Kennedy, is a clear communication of their agreement with Hillary and of their idea that our votes are not worth standing up for.

If that is the case, perhaps we shouldn't bother the Democratic Party leadership with our votes in November, or with our activism between now and then.

"I never submitted the whole system of my opinions to the creed of any party of men whatever, in religion, in philosophy, in politics, or in anything else, where I was capable of thinking for myself. Such an addiction is the last degradation of a free and moral agent. If I could not go to heaven but with a party, I would not go there at all." --Thomas Jefferson to Francis Hopkinson, 1789.

"Were parties here divided merely by a greediness for office,...to take a part with either would be unworthy of a reasonable or moral man." --Thomas Jefferson to William Branch Giles, 1795.

“Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost." --John Quincy Adams

it's not just the singular person being elected. It is the whole political party, a party of thousands of officials and politicians, and many millions of members. The candidate him/herself is still important, but the other people effectively being elected can't be discounted.

47. Of course!
No one leaning left can afford to sit this one out. The left has to turn out in numbers so big the Republicans can't steal it. Again. For a third time.

No matter who you're for, your candidate obviously has very devoted supporters who will work to hold the eventual president accountable to their (the supporters) point of view on the issues. Isn't that the core of Democracy--people of many ideals working together for the common good? We know for sure McSame will nothing for the common good. I can't believe every person on the left wouldn't do anything it would take to eject the Bush/Cheney junta and reclaim the Constitution.

... It isn't overboard to critique another campaign. I find it so weird that party breakdown is being tied to bloggers over campaign condut??? How does that work?? If campaigns were calling for unity regualrly then all would be well really. I think it does start with leadership however you cut it.

So in reality the best place to contact on harmony is the candidates site really. The real perspective is we aren't influencing candidates they are influencing us. The maturity starts with them.

79. Of course. Never considered anything else.
Wish I could say the same for some posters I've conversed with.

80. I think I can safely promise that.
It's the candidate's job to win my vote as much as it is my job to vote for any favorite. I insist that my vote is my own, and a certain stubbornness in me resists repeated demands for my loyalty oath.

But here in the real world, I can't begin to imagine the Democrat who could approach the level of corruption the GOP has reached, and so I have to vote against continued Republican rule, no matter what.

Unless the Democratic nominee is revealed as the vanguard of an invasion of baby-eating aliens. Even McCain might not look so bad then:

83. I'll vote for Obama or any other true Dem.
Hillary, with her Lieberlike ways, has convinced me she is one of them.

85. If Hillary is the nominee I will vote against McCain.
But I'd really prefer to be able to vote FOR somebody for a change.
