James Brown put it ALL on the line for his fans.

He never held back. When they came and got him from the stage, on his knees... trying to pull him back, with that cape around his neck...

I used to think... "Oh, it's an act... just hokum."

Barack reminded me of James Brown tonight. He's trying to tell us... he's not going to stop until we hear him... no holding back... this is me... this is real... If not me, then WHO? IF NOT NOW, THEN WHEN?

I won't stand here and tell you we can stop every job from going oversees... But what we can do is say we won't enter into any more trade agreements unless there are standards.

Politics that keeps track of points scored on fake controversies. This doesn't make for good government. Doesn't help you pay for college or bring your loved one home from Iraq.

The Democratic party has always been best when we have led by principles.
