"I have a lifetime of experience, Senator McCain has a lifetime of experience..."
Senator Obama has a speech he gave in 2002."

Was there any other single statement that was as patronizing and dismissive as that one?

It to me is what should be listed as "cause of death" when the post-mortem on Hillary's '08 campaign is written.

Are there any others that pop into your mind?

2. That was a pretty good one. Obama was being too cute by half.
He's got a sarcastic streak all right and he let it show there and looked a little mean doing it. I have to agree that it was intended by him as a slight dig.

12. I thought it was Clinton who said "As far as I know"
when asked if the Muslim smear was false.

19. Yeah -- that's what I was referring to.
It WOULD be cool if they asked Obama something about Clinton and he ended it with "as far as I know". Hmmm, I wonder if that happened and we missed it.

she lost me as a supporter. She mocked Obama and his supporters with that speech.

8. That one pissed me off to no end.
From dismissing everything Obama had accomplished in his career as "a speech," to giving McCain a pass, it showed me that Clinton has no shame, no conscience. She will say or do whatever it takes to win. When it comes to campaigning and personality, she is Bush in a pantsuit. I denounce and reject her.

13. She sure was angry when she said that one all right!
I can still remember the expression on her face.

It was odd because it was SO inappropriately over the top -out of balance if you know what I mean.

10. so SHAME ON YOU, BARACK OBAMA!!
MEET ME IN OHIO!!!

That whole thing was just funny to me, because...the mailers had been out for WEEKS, there is no way that she could have not known about it...and to conveniently act like she "had just found out" was so disingenuous and theatrical. Hillary lost me after she tried to scare the shit out of women voters in NH by insinuating that Obama was not pro-choice. To me, I feel like that may have had more of an affect on women voters than the "tears" moment, and I've never heard it talked about in the press.

I loved how at the press conference in which Obama was responding to "Shame on you!" the last question was "What do you intend to do about soda pop machines in public schools?" or something.

20. Bill Clinton's implication that Obama does not love the US:
“I think it would be a great thing if we had an election year where you had two people who loved this country and were devoted to the interest of this country and people could actually ask themselves who is right on these issues, instead of all this other stuff that always seems to intrude itself on our politics.”

31. I don't see that. I see you taking what he said wrong.
Just like Hillary people seem to keep doing every time Obama opens his mouth. He seems to be speaking of Lapel Pins and Bowling and doing shots with the locals. He's right, it would be a great thing. Too bad he and Hillary have dragged her campaign into the gutter.

33. I don't see how you can interpret it to be anything but a bash of Obama.
There is no logical way to arrive at anything different. By using the word "if", Bill is saying there is a chance there will not be two candidates "who loved this country and were devoted to the interest of this country". Since the only unknown is whether Hillary or Barack is the Democratic candidate, he is saying that one of the two does not fit the criteria. I'm going on the assumption he believes Hillary fits the criteria.

29. That was the comment that put me in Obama's camp.
Although I was told by many, many, well, fuck many, I was told by every single Hillary supporter that it was TRUE so she had every right to say it. Overnight I became a cult crazed lunatic sheep incapable of making decisions for myself.

It was funny, sad, and pathetic all at the same time...

32. I don't think we have ever nominated someone who was a state senator just 4 years ago.
And who only won a Federal election against Alan Keyes.

Yet no one on this board actually thinks the thousands of state senators around the nation are all qualified.

We have never nominated someone so inexperienced. We have never nominated someone so unknown, and so swiftboatable.
