I thought we could only post 3 times in 24 hours?

I see a poster with more than 3 threads started. Do the threads overlap between GD Primaries and GD showing up both places? Is this why I see more than 3 from one poster? My screen comes up with "Latest Discussion Threads - Page 1". I assumed that I was in GD Primaries, am I? I've noticed this before and have ignored it but I'd like to know why this happens if there is a logical explanation for it.

3. I've never understood the "3 posts in any 24 hour period" part. It admits of 2 interpretations...

... On the first interpretation, there is a time (say midnight) and a magic 4 (for example) minute window, within which it's possible to make *6* posts. On the second interpretation, there is no such window (for any number less than 24 hours).

If you post one thread at 1am, a second at 4am, and a third at 3pm, you can't post your fourth till 1am the following day, your fifth until 4am the following day and your sixth until 3pm the following day.
