So I came across this unlocked car, that had the key in the ignition and was running
I was thinking to myself- "it's OK to steal it, because that is what a car thief would do"

Is that any more acceptable than Hillary's "It's OK that I am engaging in the most unethical and destructive form of politics, because that's what the Republicans will do"?

1. Exactly. If Barack wanted too, he could start bringing up Vince Foster etc
Lewinski, donors to the CLinton library, and a large laundry list of attacks.

AND

If she's our nominee they will. You'd have to be an idiot not to realize that.

2. If you really really really really want that car
Of course the other part of the analogy is that you have to blow up the car that is blocking your path.

5. It depends. Do you feel 'entitled' to the car?
Edited on Sat Apr-19-08 01:00 PM by Arrowhead2k1
Perhaps your spouse had a car just like it and now you want one but can't find the financial support to buy one yourself?

19. You know it's morally marginal to justify reciprocal treatment
It's completely unacceptable to use a third party to justify your actions.

Johnny hit me so I kicked Johnny's dog.

A) Right?
B) Wrong?

This is a question from an old test administered to young criminal offenders, to identify social pathology.

If people climb on her bandwagon, the engine goes dead, the doors lock, and the cops show up?

21. You guys are hysterical
this is nowhere close to "the most unethical and destructive form of politics".

This has been a rather mild primary season. You really need to get a grip.

I guess that's what it takes, to still support her. You guys remind me of the 20% that think Bush is doing a good job.

24. That's got nothing to do with my post
you're just entirely ignorant of politics and history if you think this has been a notably dirty campaign.
