Hillary CAN still win!
I just ate a hot fudge sundae - with walnuts and whipped cream - and lost 3 1/2 lbs.

I bought a pair of shoes at Macy's and the salesman, at whom I had smiled, said, "That's ok. No charge."

And I think a pig just flew past my window...

Not to me. She stopped being a Democrat (if she ever was one) at least eight years ago.

11. Uh-uh
She's destroyed her political career. She doesn't appeal to Republicans or Independents, and she's attacked the left wing of the Democratic party. That leaves only the moderate-to-right wing, not enough to elect.

22. My hope is that she is completely finished. Including the Senate.
As a NYer, I want both her and Schumer (you know, Mukasey's pal) replaced. I'm hoping the NY state dems realize that she has weakened herself so much that she will have to struggle to be re-elected and cultivate a strong replacement.

I guess i'm just sexist in a way I cannot help.

But I will always vote for America first.
I believe we need a change of leadership.
We can change presidents now, but the oligarchy needs to retire.

13. Won't she be about as old as Reagan was by then?
Granted, not as old as Grandpa McLoon, but still.......

A 68 year old woman running for President? That would be a first. If she learned how to be a Democrat by then, I might even consider voting for her. Hopefully though, we'll never see the names "Bush" OR "Clinton" on a ballot ever again.

4. Obama may not have outright "Won It", yet. But, Hillary has definitely
Lost It.

The Superdelegates are moving. 13 in the past 3 days have endorsed. Hillary is keeping her fragile lead, but can do so only so long.

Obama is has been 22-24 back for several days now. The next bunch just before PA and just after PA should push him over, then the flood gates will open.

31. I know, Hillary could not find body parts on a bus in Northampton to see she is losing.
So STOP LYING

Body part left at town bus depot

A cornea ended up in a National Express parcel depot

A body part which was to be used in an operation was left overnight at a bus station after an administrative error.

A good cure-all?

32. well, the first 4 days were promising
we had exponential increases in giving each day. since then, it has been a bit tougher, as we seem to have plateaued in donations. How much I need depends a lot on what my goals are. If I wanted to keep pace with the other candidates, candor forces me to admit that I would be in a rather large, though not insurmountable hole. However, since I am not planning a national campaign, but rather a last minute convention win, my advert and staff budget needs are rather minimal, as are my overhead costs. Really, all I need is a small budget to wine and dine the super delegates, and maybe a couple staffers to list and contact all of those "not really pledged because you can change your mind anytime if you want" pledged delegates. And a small budget to wine and dine some of them. I expect most to see the light and vote for me without really needing persuasion, given my electibility, particularly as they examine the negatives numbers as compared to those of my opponents. Of course, wine and dine are relative terms. I need them to see how the common man responds to me and my campaign, so McDonalds all around is the plan. And what with the value menu, I expect to keep my total costs relatively low.

That said, I think at this time, all I really need donations wise, would be a DU star. Beyond that, I feel safe saying it will all go toward the general election campaign win I am already anticipating. In truth, given that I am going up against McCain, I am rather hopeful that most of the funds will be able to be saved for the victory celebration.

Why do you ask?

Now all I gotta do is lock down the delegates and super-delegates, and its all golden CO2 skys and amber waves of genetically modified wheat.

And thank you. Now I don't have to scroll to see what people said back. I'm sure there are other things that I will soon discover.

40. Just posted this as an OP...
...but it should be right at home here, too.

http://thenationalprotrusion.com/2008/03/30/clinton-ahead-if-you-count-delegates-pledged-in-her-mind/

Muncie, Indiana - Presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton told a crowd of supporters here today that she is in fact ahead in pledged delegates “if you count the ones that are pledged in my mind.” The crowd cheered loudly at the declaration, but a moment later grew silent, seeming to take in the full scope of what Mrs. Clinton had just said.

She continued, “Yes. That’s right. You heard me. And I know you’ll agree that in this country, in this country we count every vote, every delegate. Even the ones that supposedly, ‘don’t exist.’ Don’t let them hook you in with that kind of scare tactic. These delegates exist, all right. They exist right up here,” she said, pointing to her head.
